It's been almost a year since my first visit and I have to say it's even better the 2nd time around. My same friends Dave and Jessi were visiting, this time with their two year old. I asked where they wanted to go to lunch and they said "How about we go to the same place we went last time we were in town." You don't have to ask me twice.
We arrived before the lunch crowd set in and were able to grab a booth at the back. The staff was fawning all over their daughter and just gave us incredible attention throughout the meal. Also I want to point out all social distancing and protocols were in place and being followed.
I ordered the same meal I had last time which was the O-Katsu Ramen. This is just an incredible dish. I also had some Harumaki as a starter. Other apps included Osaka Bao and Karrage for the child. I hate to say I didn't catch the names of the dishes my friends.
The meal was incredible and I have to say if you leave here hungry it's no ones fault but your own. Believe me I was Thanksgiving full. It's a good thing I had the afternoon off. I took a nap.
Long story short, you want some good Ramen, this is definitely a place you can go to get it. I have spoken.

Osaka is absolutely my favorite new restaurant of 2019. I've been holding out on going here for quite a while now because I wanted to take some particular friends here when they returned to town. We missed out over a couple of visits last spring and summer however over Christmas the stars aligned and I took them here for one awesome lunch.
For my lunch I decided on the O-Katsu Ramen. It comes in a pork broth which is tomato and soybean based. Chicken katsu, pickled radish, green onion and soft boiled egg. My buddy Dave had the Tonkotsu Ramen which is Pork broth: Pork chasu, kikurage, green onion, mema, and a soft boiled egg. Jessie had a sushi dish however I didn't catch the name of it. There were 12 pieces of sushi on it though, 6 of each type. Last but not least they ordered some Karrage Bao to go.
Excellent meal, excellent service. An easy 5 stars.
My only regret... Well that was waiting so long to come here in the first place. I've lived out in Great Bridge for 3 years now and could have been sampling all the dishes here long before now. Oh well, better...
Read moreI called this establishment to make an order for two Hot Lady’s rolls. The lady that answered was very dismissive. As I was telling g her I will be there in time for the ten minutes that the food would be ready to try and keep the conversation friendly as they are dealing with my food, the lady hung up with me saying so. As I arrived at 8:30pm everything was fine I did get a greeting from the Caucasian lady who has been working here for a while she for the most part has positive energy. The African lady did not greet at all just walk past as I was the only customer in the shop. I received my food but wanted more Soy Sauce. The Caucasian lady walked to the back which is fine, I just as a usual customer asked the next close employee which was the person making the sushi. I asked him for soy sauce he as well was dismissive as he made a face of disgust and waved me off literally with his Hand and pointed me the other way while he was listening to music. I assumed he could not speak English, but is that my job to know that when I am a random customer who is looking for service? No it is not my job or any inklet of the capacity of my brain power to know this. I mentioned to the gentleman why the rudeness as I was still trying to figure out if he spoke English and it was never confirmed. I stated to him there is no need for the rude jesters or facial expressions that are not welcoming, and the African lady spoke and said why you being rude to him. I was not going to explain the matter as I was simply asking for soy sauce but it needed to be because she was some what off in the distance periodically on her phone so she didn’t k ow what was going on wholeheartedly. I started to explain and she asked why was I being loud and I explained I am projecting my voice because your on the other side of the building and so not know the context of the situation. As I attempted to explain to her and de-escalate the rising tension she cuts me off saying “ok” and I ask her to show professionalism and she continued to do such again. As I finally received my sauce I walked out mentioning to the African lady gorgeous I might add to have a nice night and she ignored me yet again as...
Read moreVery wonderful and delicious restaurant! I would recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy a good ramen experience.
Servers were friendly and attentive throughout the meal - keeping me topped off on beverage and checking in once to make sure I was enjoying the food. Servers offered me a fork without needing to ask, which I appreciated (as my chopstick skills are limited). Atmosphere of the restaurant was relaxed and comfortable - good music, gentle lighting, and nice decor! Got the gyoza appetizer and loved them. ** Gyoza was lightly pan fried and boiled - pork within was tender and flavorful. Got the Chicken Paitan Ramen (Described as "Creamy chicken broth: chicken teriyaki, green onion, bean sprout and soft boiled egg) ** Broth was extremely flavorful with a rich chicken taste, not watery and not too thick. ** Noodles were cooked well and bean sprouts were nice as crispy still! Teriyaki pieces were not too fatty and complemented the broth. ** The portion of food was good, but still wished there had been a little more of the ingredients with the broth (it was tasty)! Price of the food was excellent for the portion and quality...
