I had brought my gaming PC there back in January since it would sometimes turn off out of nowhere. It was very difficult to duplicate the issue since it sometimes occurred once every 3-7 days when using it the full day. David was the main guy working on it. Michael, Michaelās son, and Becky also helped figuring out the issue. They all showed great teamwork in troubleshooting a problem as they bounced ideas. They did have it for about a month since it was difficult to duplicate my issue. It would turn off at the desktop or even while playing a heavy loaded game. There was no up charge in them keeping it longer since itās a trial and error process. All my temps and numbers were within range, which made it harder to troubleshoot. After they did some adjustments, they would keep it for a few more days to see if it would turn off on them or not while continuously monitoring everything on it. Iāve had my pc now for five months strong, and it has not turn off at all randomly!! Michael, David, and Becky have been amazing with their customer service and keeping me updated. Been wanting to swing by to thank them personally still. You have no idea how much I appreciate all your hard work and persistence on my custom built, compact gaming pc while my husband was deployed (he built it). I wasnāt tech savvy enough to figure it out, so thank you for helping me. 10/10 would recommend and come here again! Ā Ā Ā Read moreI initially went into MRO because liquid was spilled into my laptop. Not water but soda.... Lesson learned, do not let children with sodas play near laptops. We flipped the laptop over instantly and called MRO. When it was brought in they cleaned the keyboard and replaced the CMOS battery. The laptop appeared then to be in good working condition and when tested upon pickup, all was well. Because of how the laptop was running the problem initially seemed not as serious...until I brought it home and this loud persistent beep began happening. Now in most instances businesses would use this opportunity to start the whole process over and recharge me the check-in fee but when I called I talked to Mike who told me to bring the laptop back with no new check-in fee, to get an idea of the issue. The new approach for solving the issues the laptop was a little more involved, I was quoted and paid a price for the parts and left my computer with them for the repairs. I received a call when all the repairs were complete and spoke with Mike again who informed me that I would be receiving a partial refund for the parts I paid for as it cost them less than they had anticipated. The computer is amazing and works like new, they were so eager to solve the problem and get the laptop back to how it was. They answered all my questions and were very kind and informative. That's another story, a fail to say the least. I searched for a repair shop and came across MRO and boy am I glad I did! I was very skeptical and weary about someone possibly trying to take advantage of me (money wise). Mike was very friendly, patient, likeable and even more knowledgeable and helpful. He took a look at my laptop and we discussed and laughed at my subpar repair attempt. Within minutes of turning it on he was able to tell me exactly what was wrong and why. He answered my many many questions and was very detailed about everything he wanted to do to fix my laptop. He advised me about what I should do based on what I'd be using the computer for.
So many things wrong with my laptop I thought I'd have to just get a new one. It wouldn't hold a charge, touch pad stopped working, slow, s l o w, SLOW!!!! No antivirus protection anything. Whew.
I picked my laptop up a few days later and I lie to you not, IT'S FASTER AND BETTER THAN THE DAY I BOUGHT IT!!!
I couldn't believe it! I'm so grateful I trusted Mike with my laptop. 10/10 would recommend and MRO will be my computer place!
