Co-Prosperity — Attraction in Chicago

I have seen many fine art exhibits and bands both here and Buddies including a great no wave exhibit and countless musical performances plus art festivals which include international artists . However, now that I am out of the neighborhood I never hear about them or hear from them. I don't get any email invites or see any Facebook invites so I must conclude that either they are not having events or they are doing a poor job of getting...

This is a really cool communal center type of venue. I support what they're doing a hundred percent. Saw a lot of good live music. Tongue Party is who I showed up for, and they were killing their whole set. All the bands were amazing, and it was such an intimate experience being so close yo the bands and being able to talk to them after their sets. Would love to attend another show here soon. And they had Marz on tap for the low low!!...

Chicago has a legacy for having spaces for real, raw, community cohesion. It is not an easy legacy to live up to and many venues felxing about that history can fold during tense times. This is nor one of those spaces. This is the real deal. Solidarity and love to the owners and organizers of this...
