I originally started using this service for dog walking. I had just rescued a dog that had separation anxiety and she needed an outlet. I had them come M-F and they were very accommodating when it came to the time I needed my dog walked. Then one day I had to take a trip and had planned to be gone about 8 hours. I knew my dog couldn’t be alone that long so I contacted Randi, the owner of Bow Wow, and asked about boarding my dog Bella. Again, she was super accommodating and flexible because I wasn’t sure I’d be back in time to pick her up by 6:30 for daily boarding. Randi said I could leave her overnight and pick her up in the morning. It was a huge weight lifted off my shoulders not having to rush home. I used Randi’s boarding service several more times because Bella needed the socialization and she was always so excited to go. Randi makes it so easy because you just give her your dog’s food for the day, drop your dog off and pick them up. You know your dog will be well taken care of and will probably need a nap when they get home!! I live 2 blocks away so it’s super convenient. If you live in the Bridgeport neighborhood and are looking for a boarding or dog walking service, I would recommend this place 100% of the time!! I seriously can’t say enough good things about this place. The owner just gets animals—like, truly has a gift. You can tell she’s been doing this for decades because she’s calm, confident, and totally tuned in to what pets need. My dog warmed up to her instantly (which never happens), and I felt totally at peace knowing he was in such good hands.

She’s not just taking your pet for a walk or feeding them—she’s giving them attention, love, and real care. It’s clear this is way more than a job to her. The team covers all over Chicago, so no matter where you are, you’re in luck.
