My review is solely based off an online purchase and experience. I don’t think the owner is capable nor interested in maintaining an online store. I placed an order the end of May and noticed the website says processing takes up to 10 business days. Sure, fine. However, after two and a half weeks, I received no updates. I called and emailed the information on the site. The voicemail was full and no response to my email. I waited two more days and proceeded to call continuously; at which point, I was told one of the items was out of stock. It took 3 weeks to find out an item from my order was out of stock and that was due to my follow up, not the store’s. I was told the item was due any day now, and that they would follow up with me by the end of the week as I was trying to get this to a friend’s crossing party in time. Needless to say, end of the week comes and goes - no call from the store. I follow up again, at which point, the young lady who answered was unsure if the item was in stock. She took my information and said the owner would call on Tuesday. Tuesday comes, after several hours after the store opens, I call. The owner answers and is unapologetic, no ownership or accountability. I asked about overnighting the order for free as the item had finally arrived, and I needed it by the next day. But she reasoned, since it was going to Michigan it should get there by tomorrow. It would have, had she actually shipped it that day. Long story short, it’s reasons like this that make it difficult to want to support Black businesses. I would not recommend anyone shopping online for this store. Read moreA group trip contracted Sororitique to produce jerseys for a trip out of the country. The week before the trip we were told the shirts would not be here and we would get a refund. We completed a form online and emailed it to the owner. Upon completion of the form (8/23/25) before leaving for the trip (8/28/25) we were told refunds would be issued by 9/15/25. 9/15/25 no refund was provided. After calling several times I was told the refund would be issued 10/15/25.On 10/15/25 I called, spoke with the owner and told "there's still time in the day." Refund was not received on 10/15/25. One 10/16/25 I went to the store in-person and was told "I don't have the money. You'll get your money when I have it."
UPDATE: As of Wednesday, November 5th, my wife and I have not received a refund. The screenshot attached shows the OWNER promising a refund on two separate dates and apologizing for not fulfilling the order by the agreed upon date. I contacted the store multiple times about the defective suitcase they sent me and even brought the suitcase to Chicago, from Maryland, on a trip to try to exchange. I had called the store about 3 times prior to my arrival, and let them know what item I was coming to exchange. The owner was extremely rude and essentially said that they don’t communicate messages throughout the week, despite me calling multiple times. Unfortunately, she was rude, offered no solution, and I literally left with a defective suitcase that is unusable.
