SpaDerma — Attraction in Chicago

I purchased a package of fire and ice facials at the beginning of this year and have been so pleased with the results. Shoshi is truly so kind and gives the most amazing facials. I have spaced out my package to get one facial each month and the results do not lie. With each visit Shoshi has confirmed my skin has gotten so much better with less and less extractions needed. I have always had the most amazing experience with everyone that works at SpaDerma and I’m so pleased I made monthly self care in the form of facials a priority this year.

Update 2/16/25: I have been going in to see Shoshi for laser hair removal for the past couple of years, and she’s an absolute doll. She explains everything so well, is so personable and always makes each procedure take no time at all. I have had amazing results with my laser hair removal and urge anyone on the fence to go for it. All the staff is lovely at the Armitage location and make each visit a great experience.

Update 7/13/25: I went in today for the first time since this past winter to try a hydrafacial for the first time. As always it was so wonderful catching up with Shoshi, and she worked her magic and left my face looking like a hydrated glazed donut! 😊 I did learn this gem of a human is moving and I will miss her so much, but I’ll be forever grateful for how well she has taken care of my skin over the years.

Update: 9/20/25: I went in for my second visit with Madeline for laser hair removal treatments. Madeline is so bubbly, funny and sweet! She has been such a wonderful surprise after Shoshi left and has so far give me an amazing fire and ice facial as well as two separate quick and easy laser treatments. Today I was stuck in horrendous traffic and arrived 2 minutes late and she was so kind about it (sorry again Maddie). I'm so grateful for the wonderful services these people provide and everyone who works here from the front desk team to the skilled and highly trained estheticians is very good at listening to your needs and helping you achieve longterm goals for the improved health of your skin. I'm an independent contractor so my personal business goes through irregular bouts of feast and famine but I received many timely discounts these past four months that I was grateful to redeem. I've been here at least four separate times and tried two separate pca chemical peels, dermaplaning, mild botox for my forehead and a refreshing hydrafacial that was refreshing and used water power to suction out my pores. The following estheticians were helpful and so I'd love to thank Claire O'Connor, Julie Hamilton, Austyn Johnson (botox) and Suzanne Anders who helped me look my very best! I love coming here because every service you receive is reliably good and non aggressive. I have never once had a bad reaction to any of their products and I very much appreciate the discounts I was sent to my email that made these treatments affordable for me to use. The 7 day schedule they offer you here is very flexible so you can either find time to schedule your treatment in the morning, afternoon or evening any day of the week and receive cutting edge treatment. I recently visited SpaDerma for the first time and had my first micro needling treatment done with Marc. I have been wanting to try this treatment for a while and had heard amazing things, and can I say my skin looks SOOOOO GOOOOOOOD!!! I seriously feel like I had YEARS taken off of my skin. The service experience was really nice, Marc made me feel very safe and comfortable, especially with the extra nerves of Covid-19 spiking. The whole place was spotless and I could tell the staff took their sanitation and disinfecting very seriously. It was really nice to be able to receive a service that made me feel so much better about my complexion after months of wearing masks and pretty much giving up on my skin.

I'd HIGHLY recommend Marc, he is a pro in every way, he's so knowledgable and genuinely loves what he does and it shows. He also recommended a product for after care with the service, which I decided to purchase, and it made the healing process so speedy!
