Petros Breakfast & Lunch — Restaurant in Chicopee

My entire experience was not just five stars it was spectacularly stupendously magnanimously exceptional!! Seriously. Right from the minute I walked into the door until an hour later I left, my entire time a Petros was a experience I'll forever cherish. First, the waitress whom greeted me and ultimately became my server was friendly and native to the area. The coffee was freshly brewed and delicious to drink slowly sipping I relished each taste. My food was the best presentation I've ever had! There wasn't one out of place morsel of food in the entire plated dish as the attention to detail didn't have one flaw. I ordered ham, once over eggs, hash browns with sauted onion separate and Texas Toast extra butter. The Chef is gourmet. Top notch all the way. Totally impressive. Passionately rendered. My slice of ham was right off the hock...fresh and thick. It was an Angular cut too not machine cut flat slice and prepackaged. Further, it was perfectly seared and not burned around the edges. The Chef cooked my eggs perfectly too...the yokes were warm and liquid. Such a delight. Continuing, the hash browns were nicely browned and not dried out from being on the back of the grill...they were moist and fresh. Moreover, I ordered sauteed onions with my meal as a side dish and essentially just assumed they'd be cooked n mixed together with the potato but the onions were cooked and placed separately upon the center top of serving added an element of beautiful elegance. To make everything more grand, my Texas Toast arrived worthy of mention too because it was perfectly toasted and thickly buttered served angular cut. The wedged angle was classy. Matter of fact I'll say the entire experience found me delighted! Overall, I was most impressed with my plate presentation but above all I was astounded how perfectly cooked and neatly served everything was that which incorporated the entire experience. The ham was moist and tender not salty or pre frozen and the eggs fresh with the bread divine. Update 8/26/24 "TERRIBLE " Came in for a late breakfast around noon, the place was kind of slow.... So I ordered the same breakfast that I previously got and what a disappointment 😞 I ordered my eggs over medium and they came over easy, but the worst thing was that my home fries came almost raw .... They were preboiled but not grilled or browned, they tasted terrible. I didn't mind the eggs but when the home fries are no good that just ruins the whole breakfast. I told the waitress and she offered to take them back and bring new ones but I didn't want to wait while the rest of my breakfast got cold. I ended up eating about a third and left the rest and she never said anything about it. All I know is I will never go here again , why or how does a cook send that out to a customer and think it's ok ? Barley warm, not grilled or browned but basically raw home fries. Good luck with food like that because you'll never get money from me again. 😡 Tried this for the first time after hearing from a few friends of how good it was and I was not disappointed 😀 A friend and I stopped in and had a late breakfast that was absolutely delicious. Everything was cooked as we had ordered and the portions were very nice. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the wait staff were quick and friendly. There seems to be plenty of parking but could fill up fast some days. The menu is extensive with breakfast and lunch choices and the coffee is very good. Plenty of seating with a selection of table sizes and a clean and organized dining room along with a wrap around counter. A must try...

Petros saved the day for me yesterday! It was my birthday and I usually like to go out for breakfast on my birthday. Given the pandemic, I decided to get take out instead. I placed an order at Copperline and was told it would be a half hour. A little after a half hour, I popped in to pick up my order and was told it was coming right up. Then 20 minutes rolled by, still no food. 45 minutes, and they told me they'd be right back with my food. Then they came and asked if I had ordered via doordash or phoned in. They had clearly lost my order, after making me wait a combined total of an hour and a half for a breakfast that was never coming. So I walked out. I was so hungry and upset. Then I phoned Petros to see if this situation could still be saved. And the kind woman who answered told me it would be 15-20 minutes. I didn't even want to let myself hope it could be true after the starving disappointment that my morning had been. But I arrived and was inside the building for less than 2 minutes before my food was in my hands. Thank goodness for competent and organized service at Petros.
