Nellie Dog Pottery & Paints — Attraction in Chillicothe

I have gone here many times and typically have had a good experience; however, the last time I went the glaze flaked off the plate I painted making in unable to be used other than decoratively. I painted this plate to be used as the cake plate at my wedding and intended to use it functionally. After contacting the store they said that it couldn't be fixed and could only be used as decoration. I was told if I wished to repaint a plate I would have to pay for it. We had such great care from the ladies at Nellie Dog Pottery today! I took my mother-in-law who needed some extra care getting in the store as well as in painting. The tables are so super sturdy and the choice of sitting on a super sturdy bench or a folding chair was appreciated. I opted for the bench since it made it so easy for my mother-in-law. Jordan helped us with great friendliness and kindness! Her suggestions on how to paint were very helpful! She also helped us personalize each item with my mother-in-law's input.
