Spring Street Sports — Local services in Chippewa Falls

Spring Street Sports is a great local bike shop (LBS) that I trust. I'm an avid road cyclist, and I know that when I bring in my racing bike it's in good hands. They're mechanics are skilled and knowledgeable. I always find them willing to take the time to talk mechanical issues and repairs and even give some know-how if it's a repair you can take care of at home. I find their costs to be fair and their service timely. In fact, there was a time recently when I had something fail on me two days before a race, and they were able to fit in the repair in a pinch. This is exactly what you're looking for in an LBS with a skilled staff who know their craft, know cycling, have familiarity with the area, and are friendly enough to take time for you and shoot the breeze. They stock your regular cycling fare, help you with bike fittings, and they outfit for cross country...

I am astonished how professional and decent the people are at Spring Street Sports. I had a bike that is old and beat up. The front derailler didnt work and the kid that was using it was upset he couldnt ride to school. I called the store and talked with Brooks. Brooks was understanding and set up time to get this done. Everywhere i called was 1 to 3 weeks out for repair. Brooks said he wanted this kid to be back on his bike. He was willing to help right away.

When i brought it in he worked with my budget i set for it and had it ready to go in less than an hour. This has made an 11 year old very very happy. The employees that worked were both very nice and professional. They are extremely knowledgable and i will recommmend them to anyone.

First of all , I really like the " Joe and Dave Show " . The owners are both professional people ,who are friendly and very knowledgeable on bikes and biking . And all their crew , do a good job , also . This is my third bike I bought through them . Thanks to their expertise my last bike lasted for 23 years and over 65,000 miles .All three of my bikes have been Trek . I feel they are well made bikes . That last and make biking more fun . I just purchased a new trek, Domane SL6 . And althoughI don't have a lot of miles on it yet , I'm looking forward to another 20 years with this great bike .
