Iris Boutique — Local services in Chippewa Falls

I went to the location in Hudson. The woman checking me out took around 10 minutes to figure out how to check out my clearance priced item. She had to call her daughter for help. I asked her about the return policy for clearance items and she wasn’t sure, she said probably bring it back within 14 days, and if anyone gives me trouble tell them that “my grandma (aka her) said it was OK”. She was friendly and I trusted her word and that she would remember. So today I took it in to return it and she was working. I explained who I was and the situation but she didn’t remember. They said returns were store credit only and that clearance items could not be returned. They said the return policy was on the receipt.... (umm you get the receipt after you buy an item). She agreed to give me store credit on the item and had to call someone for 10 minutes to figure out how to return the item. If the return policy is store credit, please tell me that when I ask you what the return policy is. If you don’t know the return policy, don’t promise customers anything (my bad for taking her word). I absolutely adore this boutique and highly suggest checking it out if you are ever in the Menomonie area! I have had nothing but good experiences. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Sometimes I need help adding accessories or just need a second opinion on a top out of my norm, they go out of their way to make sure I have the best shopping experience possible and they make sure I am leaving feeling confident and happy! Iris is my favorite boutique I have ever been to! I fall in love with everything I see and the decor/fixtures are always adorable. The ladies who own Iris are always so kind and helpful each time I visit. Although the prices seem a bit high some times, they aren't any more expensive than other boutiques. I like to think the prices are worth it because they have unique items that you can't find anywhere else and I always receive many compliments on the items I purchase here.
