Came here with hopes of finding new additions to my mineral collection, and was astounded at the selection this store offers. Started out the shopping experience by being escorted into the store by one of the shop owners (gave a nice flare of making me feel like a VIP customer). Then, when entering the store, the beauty of the displays and specimens offered struck me. Never have I seen such amazing quality minerals/fossils/artwork at such an affordable price. The shop owner had a vast amount of knowledge and great stories on each piece which aided in further establishing the credibility and authenticity of this shop. Very friendly atmosphere and the shop is catered to all types of people; whether you’re a geologists or someone who just enjoys owning a physical piece (or pieces) of biological/geological/astronomical history. Check out their online shop too while...
Read moreMy girlfriend and myself were visiting the Cincy area from Colorado and we decided to check out GeoRarities. We loved everything about this place. They have an amazing assortment of common/rare minerals, crystals, and fossils. Stu, one of the owners, was running the shop that day. Stu made us feel so welcomed! Stu was knowledgeable about everything in his shop giving origins, meanings, scientific explanations, and references. Both of us loved talking and listening to him. Hands down, best shop for rocks, fossils, minerals, we have ever been to. Our visit to GeoRarities really made our day and we can't wait until we are in town again. We will most certainly stop in every time we...
Read moreMe and my sister visited here last weekend while out exploring Cincy. Didn’t know what to expect, but was very impressed and excited to see such a cool and unique collection! The store owner was also very nice and offered quite a bit of cool information on some of the specimens. Price points were very fair/generous in my opinion and also varied greatly so that anyone can find something in their budget. I ended up leaving with two unique rocks- a clear calcite spear shaped specimen and a quartz enhydro. I’ve been to quite a few rock stores and this one had some things I had never seen in person before. Definitely planning on going on...
