Honestly if I could put no stars, that would be this review. Iāve been waiting on a call back from the manager since 8am this morning, itās now 2:30pm.
Let me start by saying I went to Optum on Tuesday 4/28 and had an AMAZING visit with Dr. Ben. I was diagnosed with Strep throat. My boyfriend has it a few days before. Itās going around my house. Because I had such a great experience, I figured Iād take my daughters (ages 9 and 3) back to the same location after my oldest started complaining her throat hurt the next day 4/29. Mind you, she had white puss balls in the back of her throat and it was swelling red. We went in at about 5 pm. The girls doing the swabs in the front seemed new and were also not the same staff as the previous day. Looking at me all crazy. Anyway, we get to the office and they tell me their tests are both negative for strep. Okay.. the swab must not have been taken properly. The doctor on duty was DR. JEAN, he must have been over 80 years old and in a wheelchair. He barely fit in the office. He could not reach the tools to do the proper exam on my children. I donāt think he could even see properly because if you looked in my daughterās mouth, it would have been obvious. He looks at both of them and says they are fine nothing it wrong. Obviously wrong for my 9 year old daughter, I didnāt say anything because at this point it was a joke. He told me with adults, doctors can do whatever ya know? But with kids, they canāt. I couldnāt make eye contact and gave a smart remark. While leaving, he says, do you need a doctor note? Why would I need one if you just preformed an exam and said they were healthy with no strep? Heād send for cultures to receive back in 3-4 days. Fast forward 10 hours later, my 9 year old wakes up with a 104 fever, puss in the back of her throat, throat swollen insanely. We go immediately to Cooper Urgent Care where the positive strep comes back!!!!!
Iām sorry but please donāt play with me or my children. Iām going to call my insurance and tell them NOT to pay for the visits as this was a JOKE. I donāt mean to sound discriminative, but at some point, you need to RETIRE!!! If I had to pay huge copays and that was the help I received, Iād be fuming 100x more.
Sad because Dr. Ben was amazing, but Iāll never go back there. Iāve never had a bad experience like this ever anywhere. Donāt waste your time or money at Optum and go to Cooper down the road.
P.S. I took pictures of my daughterās throat before and after, Iām no doctor, but a better one...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI generally donāt leave reviews, but after reading other reviews of Dr. Nidhi Agrawal and her history of malpractice, I feel like I should post my experience as well and recommend care elsewhere.
The wait time was adequate to a walk in experience and who was in front of me. I was called back and the staff that took my vitals was helpful and straightforward. Out of a couple patients present, I was told to wait in a room for the doctor to finish my physical for my DOT Physical. Kind of frustrated my doctor chose to take her lunch break while I was waiting in the room next door for 20 minutes to be seen. My appointed doctor, Nidhi Agrawal, came in the room and preformed the rudimentary tasks for a physical. After everything was completed, I was asked to sign some paperwork where she proceeded to take that time (about 10 minutes in total) to berate me about my BMI and how it would affect me in the future. I made the comment that l've actually been losing weight, that I had just gained some with my wife just giving birth. Her response was "I'm not buying that, she didn't force you to eat". Didn't even have the decency to congratulate me. Look I'm 6ft 4", at 370lbs, I'm by no means fit and perfectly in shape, but she wanted to make it out that I was morbidly obese and needed to be monitored on a sleep test. Nor does she understand how muscle and fat differentiate for each other when calculating BMI. This is how doctors treat their patients? And further more the way she talks to her fellow colleagues? She asked the nurse who took my vitals about my vision score, and had to finish her questions with "I don't think you're stupid". Definitely surprising if she needs to reassure her colleagues that. I will not be returning to this urgent care, or recommend it to anyone I know. Beyond...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOur family always uses the Cinnaminson locate. Always top level service and care. But on May 6 not so much. I have scheduled a 1:40pm appointment online. I arrived and checked in at 1:30pm. The waiting room was completely empty and after about 15 minutes. I walked up to the front desk and asked was there anything needed from me. The front desk person was either asleep or just completely or mentally checked out. She didn't even realize that I'd checked in even though I did it directly in front of her until I brought it to her attention. I think I might have interrupted her snooze because she had a slight attitude throughout the check in process. I let her know that I was having trouble entering my insurance information into the urgent care appointment app, but I had everything in hand and could answer any questions. I apologize for the inconvenience. Rather than just take my insurance cards. She spent an additional five minutes looking up what the issue was with my insurance not being uploaded into the app. Finally she called me back up again and asked for my insurance cards. This person did not want to show up to work and it definitely showed. Working in health care I know is not easy, but you need to keep your feelings private especially when you're in a bad mood.
Once being seen by the medical assistance and the doctor my overall visit was OK. I happened to arrive during a shift change so I had to wait for a new provider too replaced the provider that shift had ended. What I thought was going to be a quick visit with an empty facility ended up turning into an over hour.
Throughout the last 2 year I've noticed the constant rotation of employees and doctors at this location. I may or may not visit this...
