I came into this store and attempted to buy a water bottle only to be declined by the cashier because I was paying with my credit card and not spending over $5. The cashier told me it was a policy in place by her manager/owner Stephanie. This person conveniently has no business card to be notified of this experience hence this review. I wanted to talk to someone about food allergies like if some of the gummies ate manufactured and made around peanuts or nuts. The women seemed annoyed and told me no one can help me and or answer those questions. I asked if a manager would be in and she stated they come in whenever and when they have a delivery, no set schedules. Food allergies need to be taken more seriously and staff who is selling food and or candies need to be aware of this information, especially if no manager will be there. We have loved this store and we're sad when our local store at Gulf view mall closed. We had stopped at citrus park mall on our way home from movies for a Halloween costume at Spirit and came across candy Barrel . We are excited now to find out she is still open and has the citrus park store but also has one closer as well at Tarpon Sponge docks so we will visit there in the future. Always an awesome mix and match by the pound collection and just a good stop for a treat...
