The plaza's concourse used to look nice, but now it is just an 👁️ sore with a long drawn out construction project of the floor to be redone which it doesn't need.
If it ain't Broke, don't Fix it!
Even though I do not care much or have eaten at Herbies Burgers with their overpriced meals, I feel sorry for the them as they must be feeling it with all that plywood describing the project right smack in front blocking the main entrance along side the NYS Police station.
The contractors hired to redo the flooring will milk this multi-million dollar task as long as possible and is a waste of tax payer 💵.
The Capital looks like a construction site with all the scaffolding and fencing surrounding it and blocking the pathways.
Another long drawn out project that doesn't need to be done and will be milked to the last penny.
If Coumo was still governor these unnecessary touch ups would not happen or it would be completed much quicker than what is expected.
But pushover Page aka Governor Hochul gave the green light and so the saga continues.

Read moreWow the holiday lights are amazing. The lighting of the tree had a little glitch, but once they turned off all the other lights from the background a few minutes later the tree was lit. Followed by a long fireworks display. Being they couldn't do this last year they used the fireworks from last yr along with this yrs fireworks and it was one of the best displays I ever seen. Outdoor ice skating was available W/ skate rentals @ $4 each. They had music more entertainment there. Vendors as well as a food place. A area to sit and get to get warm with heating lamps. Stewart's shops was one of the vendors & was giving their brand of egg nog. I was handed a cup of it and then a quart to take with me at no cost. Im pretty sure their were more venders, but by the time we made it over there most were packing up to leave. I can't wait to go back next year. We enjoyed this event very much. Great job ALBANY NY.
