I was in a very, very dark state last week and I had all intentions of self-destructing myself because of the emotional pain. I passed by St. Peter's Episcopal Church after getting off the bus and I usually don't feel called to enter churches because I'm not religious but rather spiritual. However, this beautiful church called out to me and I was propelled to go inside. I was amazed at the beautiful interior and intimate setting of the church and to my luck, the organ player was practicing and the beautiful, haunting music echoed saturated the church. I sat down on the last pew in the back and I immediately began to cry and and pray to God that I be kept safe from myself.
