Collect Binghamton by Piece of The Game — Attraction in City of Binghamton

🚩🚩BEWARE 👉 50+% OVERPRICED!!! SAVE YOUR A$$, SHOP BARNES & NOBLE, eBAY, or WALMART+🚩🚩 I was ecstatic to see my favorite childhood cards come back to life at this shop in the beginning of February. I asked the owner why the price was so high, and they said, “because you can only get the uncommon inserts in it…you can only get these from authorized Upper Deck dealers…” They assured me I was paying the going rate on my order 😆 I took the bait, reluctantly trusted them, and paid the ultra premium. They didn’t even scan it and entered the price quoted knowing they were going to make a deceitful sale on a “sucker”. The day after I went over to Barnes & Noble and they were selling blasters of the 92 Masterpieces for $33! I bought them all believing I was getting a screaming deal, and when I ripped them, they contained just as many uncommon cards as he claimed were only in his hobby boxes.. Two days later I was interested in buying another hobby box to complete the set and come to find out, Walmart+ had the EXACT PRODUCT for well beyond what they charged me. That week I spent close to $1,000 worth of merchandise from Collect Binghamton and I now wonder how much they over charged me in that period… Currently, they are trying to offer me 4 blasters of the same product as “a make good” @ “$40 SKU” for calling them out in this post, or a $100 store credit even though I will never shop there again. 👎👎 I’ll be “happy collecting” elsewhere from now on…hard...

Terrible experience ordering from this company. 2 separate incidents with shipped orders. First time they shipped me the wrong product I ordered. Second time I ordered product they then cancelled, removed from store and then said they outlined guidelines to purchase, which were not posted anywhere in the product. Terrible experiences and would not recommend purchasing from this company online at all.

Reply to their review: The first order was not “made right”. I still paid MSRP after shipping for an ETB because I didn’t want to have to repackage a box and ship it to them to wait for a refund. They offered 1 Prismatic item as a sorry. But after their second mess up in a row, then lying about the product description for a second consecutive order, I decided it wasn’t worth the gamble to deal with a company that can’t get their product descriptions and proper products listed. Owner was rude in the follow up emails as well telling me to “read product descriptions before ordering” even though their first shipment had completely false product information. And as for the amount ordered, it was 4, the required amount for free shipping. They also removed the product after they cancelled, just like they had to change their entire product photo and description after sending me the incorrect item...

Nice selection of products with a good variety. From funkos, pokemon (vintage, modern, slabs), yugioh & sports. Also, very nice shop owner. My only advice would be to always cross reference and double-check value on anything you're trading in yourself before doing so & make sure the trade is fair. Keep a spread sheet or list on hand if needed & Double Check! Which should be the case anywhere. I don't recommend trusting the business to be honest, they're a business. At the end of the day, it is a pretty cool business & a hidden gem in the area. Worth visiting & checking out. Just be cautious as with any...
