Children's playground — Attraction in City of Glen Cove

A space that has become 10% wonderful and used by families with their children and 90% an after-dark loitering ground for teenagers and up. I cannot speak as to whether RXR is in charge of its oversight or not, but the grounds would honestly have made for a fantastic outdoor performing arts pavilion (a promise made but not kept) or a community garden, or even more plain grass turf. Either the way it is administered needs to change or its usage does. As it stands, it was poorly thought out and it shows. This is Glen Cove: the 37th best place to live in the entire United States! Countless pieces of the pmayground have warning labels about them grtting hot and can cause burns. Who the heck chose these play materials. Literally scorcing hot. Either put a canopy over it to provide shade or get different equipment. It’s sad because it is clearly new.

Yet, go touch the metal by the marina/boats. Cool as a cucumber. Garvies point trying to burn young children for no dam reason. ...

I don't give five stars usually because it's a business or something, but this is a really, really cool place to take your kids to play. It's got the big squishy blue mat, lots of nice things to climb around on interesting toys. There's also a wonderful promenade to walk along or maybe ride a bike or something. There's always parking, come check it out but maybe not on...
