So my internet service went out at home on 07/05 and after talking with customer service for almost an hour they made a service ticket for my equipment to be tested and replaced. Being the holiday weekend and a Saturday if the did an overnight of the equipment it would take about two days, and with two small children and daily work use that just would not work. I went to this store on 07/06 in the morning shortly after opening. I met a rep who asked what my concern was and that I believe I only need a replacement power supply for my router he told me he could not that he would have to replace both my router and supply and I would have to come back after 12pm. I have already been without service for 14 hours. I asked him why was it difficult to let me keep my router and swap the power supplies as customer service said was possible as per my service ticket so I would not have to change the whole network set up at my house. He again said that’s not possible, so I said I’m not leaving I’m going to call customer service so they can understand why he is not helping me. He replied go ahead call and let them know Harry the district manager said we can not do that. I sat in the store like an idiot trying to reach customer service for 10 minutes only to find out they were closed. Another rep came in, did not get his name but he does where glasses, asked me what my problem was and in less than a minute reached in a box of cords matched up my power supply and plugged in my router to see if it powered. The two reps started speaking in Hindi thinking I did not understand them as waited the rep with glasses turned to me asked me if my router was on I confirmed it was and thanked him for helping me in less than five minutes.    Read moreGreat place to buy anything from Verizon! I went here to trade in my old phone and was amazed by how clean, well lit, friendly and welcoming this store was. I worked with Ali who helped me decide on what the best phone for me was. I went in figuring I'd just upgrade and spend a ton of money but not only did he help me choose a better phone for my needs, he made sure I felt comfortable with what I was buying and gave great recommendations for the glass screen protector and phone case. I am used to other phone retailers trying to push the most expensive items on me and not care how much I want to spend or care about what I want.
I was at the store for a little over an hour. I thought I would be spending my whole day here switching over everything since that is what I'm used it. Ali explained the process to me and made sure I had everything backed up before going through each step in activating my new phone and transferring everything. Most other retailers just tell me basic instructions and wish me good luck! And when I had to wait a little I noticed how great the other employees were. Always greeting people in store or on the phone with a smile. Management should be over the moon to have such a lovely store and great employees. If you are looking for a new phone, tablet, smart device, accessories, or whatever else Verizon offers - look no further and go here. The employee, Hari Ram, repeatedly pushed a “free” SIM card that he later said cost $40 but would be refunded. After I declined, he tried again—offering to give me the screen protector at no charge if I accepted the SIM card. I declined once more, making clear I only wanted the items I came for.
After accessing my Verizon account to fix my connectivity issue, Hari completed the service and I left. Minutes later, I received texts showing I’d been enrolled—without consent—in two separate streaming packages, each set to auto-renew at $10/month, resulting in unauthorized account charges and unauthorized charges added to my Verizon bill.
This is clear evidence of deceptive sales practices and unethical conduct, and it directly violates Verizon’s Authorized Retailer Code of Conduct. I have reported this incident to Verizon Corporate and the Account Security Department and request a full investigation into this fraudulent activity. Customers should avoid this location entirely.
