Hornell Skate Park — Attraction in City of Hornell

Great skate park! Ramps recently resurfaced, shaded picnic table available under tree. A fun spot for local families visiting Shawmut Park for an afternoon - not uncommon to see little tikes scooting around. Halfpipe and bigbox draw serious BMX and skaters from Alfred State and Alfred University campuses, Wellsville, and Dansville areas. Not a bad park. Comparable to the former Town of Sweden (Brockport) skatepark layout. The concrete ground here is a lot nicer than you'd find at a lot of other similarly-sized skateparks.
