This is Not the verizon to go to. Promise. Not worth the convenience. We found out that this particular store is the problem -store. One guy tried to take me for $30, out of pocket. Without addressing any issues yet. When I thought that was a little strange, he got a bit aggressive and told me it was for his time. TIP?!? So I got upset, and walked. Neither employee had let us know they'd be with us... (when we walked in) or how long we'd be waiting, (aprox). On its own i dont mind waiting... but to be treated like we werent tipping enough, was too mandatory... without a smile or even answers, much less cordial behavior...it was just, like talking to a rude wall, to see the queen. (I wanted to keave verizon permanently.) But we went just up the street and didnt get pre-charged there...at all. They also knew which verizon store we had been to as they hear complaints all the time for that (next to Walmart), store. Rude mostly, but lots of inquiry also about whether they are open during normal business hours...etc. (like they take breaks during normal hours, I assume). The (37 main) girls said the phone transfer would be a bit, did we want to leave and come back... we planned to, but they were so pleasant, (while professional),that we all just talked. Read moreI don’t even want to give this place one star but I had to in order to write a review. I went in Monday Aug. 21st to get help setting up my new phone. The man (slender, reddish beard) looked at me like I was dumb making a face and giving no response right away. His words “it will tell you what to do so if you can read you can do it yourself.” I explained I can in fact read but I believe there is something else at play as it’s been not connecting for hours. He slid the phone back to me after just looking at the screen and got up then began unpacking a box. No words, no eye contact just plain ignoring. I asked again if he could help as I am a Verizon customer and he stated “the starting rate is $32.00, to help you” I asked why? He said “ I should already have charged you for the time I’ve given” at this point I’d been in the store a total of a couple minutes( with no other customers in sight) and this man had done nothing to my phone but glance at the screen. I left and took my phone issue to the Verizon on main and they fixed it free of charge. I’m not one to write a bad review but this experience was awful and people...
Read moreStopped in to get a replacement phone today and Ryan Henry did everything he could to save me a few dollars. After an unsatisfactory visit to fix poor reception on the J3 a few days before, I wasn't looking forward to stopping again. But I went in hoping for the best. What I got was their best effort and a friendly reception. Both young men in the store helped, but it was Ryan who did what he could to make my day better. Though I ultimately purchased a better phone, it was the service that impressed me. Even on an off day, they were awesome. 4 stars only because corporate makes their people jump through an awful lot of hoops to activate a phone, but that doesn't take away from the top notch service I received today.
