The hotel is brand new so everything seemed to be very clean and in good order. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. Hotel room was clean. Bathroom was clean with plenty of towels. Never needed to request more. I did not receive housekeeping by choice, so I can't comment on that. Breakfast was satisfactory and typical for Hampton Inn hotels. Water bottle fillers throughout the hotel. There’s a pool and gym. Didn’t use them but they looked in good shape. A few nitpicks- Bathroom could be improved by adding an exhaust fan to the shower/toilet room. Water pressure could be higher. Some bottled water in the room would be a nice touch. Also, a note for anyone from Hilton corporate reading this- I would appreciate it if certain floors can be off-limits for pets. I don't understand why pets cannot be restricted to lower floors only and higher floors kept for those without pets. I was told you deep clean rooms after pets stay in them, but it's almost impossible to remove all pet hair, dander and odors between occupants. Overall, it was a nice stay and would stay here again when...
Read moreIf I could give 10 stars I would. My family and I came home to New York to lay my brother to rest and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. With it being such a difficult time for us EVERYONE here has made it easier for us. I seriously feel like we are staying with family because every person here has went out of their way to make our stay be a good one. It hasn't been just one or two people it's literally every single person from housekeeping to food service to the front desk attendants and definitely the management. The rooms are clean, the beds are very comfortable, the breakfast is awesome and there's a big selection to choose from but the overall attitudes and customer service from the staff is AMAZING! Thank you to the Hampton Inn Hornell team for making our stay here so pleasant especially with the reason for our stay being such a difficult time for us! I really hope this company knows what an amazing team they have at the Hampton Inn in...
Read moreBeyond disappointed with the stay for my family. We came in to a dirty room with a dried half eaten waffle in the corner of the room. We were looking forward to taking the kids swimming, but the extremely small pool area was over filled with children with adults sitting at a nearby table drinking alcohol. While trying to sleep, the room was filled with the sounds of adults yelling and partying outside in the sitting area. The smell of Marijuana was coming through the windows in to the room while my children were trying to sleep. This was reported to the front desk, but the loud group was permitted to carry on well past 1AM. Breakfast was underwhelming, the attempt at serving hot breakfast resulted in cold, seamingly microwaved, unpalatable food. When the children could use the pool area we had to get out due to large clumps of hair floating in the pool. This hotel is overpriced. Service and amenities are the worst I have seen in a hotel, local...
