It's an awesome little Latin shop right next to the High School. They have awesome pasteles, or pastries made fresh. They also have snacks and even some produce and ingredients. They have cakes, which are pretty good. They have cheese, spices, dried peppers, tortillas, sauces, and drinks. Pretty much your Mexican essentials. But the lesser known part of them is that they also serve some of the best and most authentic food in town. Their birria is probably their best option, though their other tacos are good too. Their birria combo box is a lot of food for a great price and has tons of birria products, like tacos, nachos, and a giant "pizza." The prices are good, and the service is awesome, though I'd suggest learning some Spanish to better communicate. Their soda and juice options are also nice. Overall, it's an inexpensive and delicious option to support small, local businesses with.

Tried the al pastor and chorizo tacos...fast, friendly service...most importantly these tacos are legit. The market itself is interesting too. A taco uptown will cost you $5. They are $2 each here, but you have to get at least two per. Not sure why it took me so long to come here.

🔥🔥🔥 first birra tacos. Far from the last. Soo good. The meat falls apart. Flavored to perfection. I’ll be back soon to try the rest of the menu. Thanks El Mercado!

From the looks of the outside and location, you wouldn't want to go in to this store front. BUT I'm always pleasantly surprised by the food from their kitchen. I haven't eaten something here that I didn't like! Only giving 4 starts because location is shady/scary/do I really have to leave my nice car alone for...
