Store- Love this location! They have great staff, and Marie was super helpful w a picture order!! They also had a great shampoo and conditioner sale. And super cute random house stuff and toys.
UPDATE: Pharmacy- Hit or miss at best. I had a script from wellnow sent here over a month ago, and went in store to wait for it. Told the pharmacist I was there and gave my insurance info. While i waited, i shopped for otc things, checked out, and waited.... 45 mins later, went back to check and the pharmacist said he didn't know I was waiting for it... why else would I have come in person, sick, w a script to be filled, w insurance info? Okay. Waited 20 more minutes to get it. Then today, as we have moved to the area, I wanted to switch over my perscriptions and records. The old pharmacy said "oh, just call your new pharmacy and they will do all the legwork". So I did, got a pharmacist Cody on the phone who kept repeating that a transfer will negate all refills on prescriptions per NYS, as if im an idiot and didnt underatand english the firat time... I was just trying to clarify since that's not what the last pharmacist said... and he got frustrated and angry, w a nasty tone in 5 seconds. I've been super sick for over a month, and now 2/2 interactions with this pharmacy have been negative. I was not nasty, nor cursing, just asking to clarify that I will have to do the 'legwork' I was told they would do... super unprofessional and not worth the hassle when I have a fever and a headache already. Find a different pharmacy, I will be doing so once I'm better and done with the CT scan and meds I have. There is no reason to give these people business, when they make good money, and talk down to you like an angry recording for asking a simple polite question....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhy is it so hard to reach the pharmacy through the phone? Can I just talk to a human please? I mean why does it have to be made so complicated w/ the automated voice? When I call the number for Walgreens Pharmacy I thought it would go right to the desk & I could just give them my name & birth date & it would take 2 mins. No instead I am sitting here listening re-entering my perscription number 5 effing times with the key pad after saying it out loud twice & the voice is still saying I enetered/said the wrong number. Guess what it's not. Something this small will turn me off completely. I know, who cares Im one in a million.. Maybe there's a high call volume? How many people are calling walgreens on a daily basis? Either way I should've kept my business with Rite Aid.. Didnt have problems like this & they have 24/7 locations. I realize it's a big corporation & there's a system for doing things but in my two weeks since I've switched from Rite Aid to Walgreens, there have been times where I I want to go back to the old flame On account of all these minor...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI understand itās busy with the influx with customers from rite aid. But I have been back and forth with Walgreens and doctor about prior authorizations that I am told are approved and go to pick medication up and itās not approved. This went on for about almost 2 weeks of back and forth. Then pharmacy tells me okay itāll be ready in half hour. I wait in a long line just to be told itās not ready yet the following day. If you want to spend hours on hold on the phone, in line, or at the drive through, and still not have your medications ready when you are told they would be and to wait even more, this is your pharmacy. At least donāt lie to me and tell me itās ready and being filled when itās not. Thereās no excuses for this experience. Iām switching to a...
