Dramatic Hall — Attraction in City of Peekskill

From the dark wood and exposed brick to the wrought iron staircase bannisters, everything about the DH is exactly what we were looking for. The romantic ambiance afforded by Dramatic Hall made our wedding all the more special. It truly was a perfect setting for the most important night of our lives. Bar staff were friendly and attentive. The wait staff was equally professional and the food was oustanding! After our ceremony and during the cocktail hour, the space had to be changed over for dinner and buffet service. The staff accomplished this quickly and efficiently. In times of Covid on the rise, the staff were cautious and professional. Our caterers, Kathleen & Gabriel Arango made our tasting so special, answered every question we had, and were exceptionally accomodating. We and our guests enjoyed cocktails, passed apps, the dinner buffet, and couldn't stop talking about how magical the night was!

Frank Vasquez, our day of service coordinator, brought his extensive expertise to every meeting and email correspondence to execute our wedding to go off without a hitch. He kept us on schedule and accountable during the planning process, wisely pointing out details that we overlooked and asking us important questions we may not have considered. On the day of the wedding, Frank and his staff moved things along efficiently, while accommodating special requests with a smile. Everything went smoothly and the next day Frank had everything packed up for pick up with the swift ease of a professional that wanted to make our lives as easy as possible. It's safe to say that without Frank, the night would not have gone nearly as smoothly. I'm reviewing this venue exclusively as my experience as a guest/vendor.

Came here for a clients wedding which is also a friend so I got to experience both aspects: being a vendor and enjoying some things as a guest.

First off, I have to say this, I've never seen anything like the Dramatic Hall. It sure lives up to its name. Seriously so much drama and it surely is a photographers playground. It was the perfect atmosphere for a Sunday wedding. Can't say enough how much I enjoyed photographing a wedding here. Everything was so royal and "extra" without being too over the top. The lightning truly was my favorite as well as all the industrial/modern feels.

Love the disco balls that hang elegantly as well as the two stairs that wrap around. It's such a fun, different space for any occasion but especially for a wedding.

Parking's not the best but they have street parking available nearby. Sunday's it's free so that's a plus.

We had our train themed wedding here on 10/8 and it was such a beautiful hall. Frank, who was our wedding coordinator, really went above and beyond to bring our vision to life. He was very organized and detail oriented, which is perfect for planning any occasion. All our guests left commenting on how beautiful our wedding was, which was all due to Frank's help. Also the head chef Kathleen is just remarkable, she created our signature drinks and menu items. I have to say, the food at our wedding tasted so good, everyone was raving about it. Also, the wait staff was so nice and attentive. This was the best choice I made for our wedding and I highly recommend having your special day...
