I visited for a small festival ROC the Falls. I did a quick walk thru of the front of the park before I watched the show, so I didn't get to see all the features, but the view is stunning! As I walked near the water I could feel the mist from the falls.
There were a number of artists painting the ramp to the overview platform. Their murals we're very cool as you can see in the photos. Great job folks!
I think this was the first year for this festival. Music was provided by Mochester & Ryan Montbleau Band. Mochester is a fun band from Rochester whom I've seen before & dig their music. I've been following Ryan Montbleau for years, the real reason I went. Both bands are great - check them out if you're not familiar!
Really glad I went because I discovered this sweet little park with stunning scenery. I will...
Read moreAttended the Roc the Falls event to enjoy the park and listen to some free music. During the event there were many food trucks in the park. Great little park located next to the Genesee Brew House with awesome views of the High Falls and Genesee river. There are a few picnic tables here and I also saw a grill. On non event days you can also enjoy the Brew House next door, which sereves food, has a small museum, tours of the beer making, growler fills and tastings. There is a walking bridge over the river to enjoy other historic areas, restaurants and it's a short walk to Frontier Field for a Red Wings...

Come see geology in action... and reminisce about the bustling 1800s (before humanity eventually...
