Review updated 8-12-25: Always something with concessions here, which is so sad cause they have such a great selection of everything. Get in line for a funnel cake sundae, and they’re making funnel cakes for people. Line moving faster than the one I was in, people who got in line after me got funnel cakes. When I got there… no longer making them. Could have at least asked people in the line waiting a long time over other lines if they planned on ordering a funnel cake. Nope, rather have poor customer service. Wanted to email them this over add to another sad review, for this place has great potential and we love coming here, but no email. I guess on the positive this time they had cheap flimsy knives to cut your garbage plate over having to use a cheap flimsy fork.

So love coming to the games here whenever the Syracuse Mets are in town, for pride night, and zoo night. Also, love doing the Rochester Beer Expo here. Only place you’re going to be able to get a huge garbage plate while sampling beers. I always tell people, “best beer tasting event is at Red Wings Stadium. You get so much good beer, and you can enjoy one of the best garbage plates in the world here!” Love the beer selection for games too.

So, my issue was with our last time here. They have so many rules when ordering a garbage plate. You can no longer pay extra for say a hot dog on the cheeseburger plate. Yes, the cheeseburger plate can feed two, but kind of weird making me keep my money. Also, next time I have to try and sneak in my own plastic knife. We looked everywhere for knives last time in, and there was none. You get two huge cheeseburgers and have to cut it with the cheapest plastic flimsy fork known to man.

Biggest issue is the trash can is smaller. My spouse use to love it cause it was perfect for him. Also, ordered one last night with no onion. We got no meat hot sauce and tons of onions. It was the most disgusting thing you could hand someone. My spouse didn’t want to return it cause the person ran away and they were busy, so he ended up taking meat off my and our friend’s plate and pushing...

I'm sorry to have to give the entire organization a bad review on behalf of a single employee... But that's what happens when the staff on the street are so unbelievably disrespectful to a family, with tickets in hand, before they even get to the gate... I know the security guards have a tough job, and they don't make the rules. But we hadn't even been greeted before this guard started talking to my wife so unbelievably rudely, I was astonished and confused. I asked to talk to his supervisor, and while I walked over to his supervisor, he lunged past us and said he wasn't going to let us in because my wife was rude to him?!?

We explained the situation to his supervisor (that we follow the rules, we don't have a problem complying with the purse policy, we just have a problem with how he approached us and spoke to us) and he said, that's not okay and he'll deal with it later. I said, but he's still going to be allowed to continue to treat people this way for now? He then said he was busy right now, but he'll address it later. I have no faith that this will be addressed later. They then kept whispering to each other and pointing at us.

We can't afford to go to games often, but this has discouraged me from wanting to ever go again. I'm going to spend my hard earned money on positive family fun. Not subjecting ourselves to being treated like criminals for not knowing a tiny purse was not allowed.

We might have seen the new rules in advance, if we had bought these tickets, but we were gifted the tickets this time, and we chose to spend what little money we have on concessions... If it were just my wife and I, we would have just walked away, but my sons and their friend were really excited to see the game.

I hope the security guard "Michael B?????" gets reprimanded, and I hope other patrons are not...

Innovative Field is one of Minor League Baseball’s best ballparks. The ballpark is home to the Rochester Red Wings. The views of the city of Rochester from the field are outstanding. Sightlines from all seats are very good. If you sit on the first baseline you have a nice view of the Kodak Tower. If you sit on the third baseline you can see a train going by, First Federal Plaza (The UFO Building), the Times Square Building, and several other buildings in downtown Rochester. The food and concessions in the stadium are unmatched by almost any other ballpark. Several craft beers and local beers are available. You can also get Rochester classics like Beef on Weck, Zweigle’s hot dogs, Garbage Plates, and Altobelli’s Deli. All of the choices are great. The concourses are also very large and there are picnic benches located in different places in the stadium. There is a team store located at the front entrance of the stadium. There are several parking lots located near the stadium. Some of the lots accept cash only payments. The staff at the stadium was friendly and helpful. It is best to purchase tickets online. Don’t miss the statue of the horse made out of baseball gloves at the front of the stadium. Ticket prices are lower than most other Triple-A ballparks. At Innovative Field you will have a great time at...

We have a wonderful local stadium supporting the Red Wings. We've been here for a few different occasions and the stadium owners seem involved with the community. The baseball and softball Little Leagues around town were able to walk around the fields; Hochstein Youth Singers sang God Bless America; our Cubscouts troop has an upcoming opportunity to be color guards; they hosted my work team event and the list goes on. We've also been there during the free swag promos, often times a wonderful surprise. We get there early (doors open 1.5 hrs before game time) and the wait is not long. It gives us time to roam around, get food, and get settled with our kids. Recently, we were at the induction of GM Dan Mason into the Hall of Fame. I could see the love of the game and the community from the speeches and the impact, as our family has been a part of the events hosted there. It's a great experience! Also, there's fireworks at the end of the evening games. Kids love that!
