After years of not being able to consistently wear my engagement ring and wedding band due to an allergy to the nickel in the white gold, I decided to bring them to Bob at the Jewelry Clinic to have them dipped and polished. I knew I needed to make the time to have this taken care of; especially since my 10 year wedding anniversary is coming up. I took my time and read many reviews from different jewelers in the area. What stood out to me was Bob’s 40+ years of experience and consistent high quality craftsmanship and wealth of knowledge. I knew I’d made the right decision when upon entering the shop I found Bob consulting with a customer who had some family diamonds and was interested in having them repurposed as their original setting had broken some time ago. He was kind, patient and very honest about the balance between the sentimental value and how much he’d need to spend to create what he’s envisioned. Bob truly cared and didn’t rush the gentleman, and thoughtfully answered his questions, even though he knew that he wasn’t going to purchase anything and he had another customer (me) patiently waiting.

Flash forward a week or so and my engagement ring and wedding band were ready to be picked up! The white gold looked brand new and the diamonds were as sparkly as the day my husband gave them to me! I could not have been happier!

I’d also had Bob change the posts and closures on backs of the diamond earrings that my husband and kids gifted me one Christmas. The posts had been too long and poked me and the backers screwed on. Sometimes they came loose and I risked the earrings falling out and getting lost. Bob showed me what he recommend and we decided on ordering shorter posts that came with flat disc backers that only come off if you squeeze the sides. He did a phenomenal job!!! I’m so happy! I can comfortably sleep with the earrings in now and there’s no risk of them falling out!

I went to the Jewlery Clinic to meet with Bob at the recommendation of two colleagues, both whose engagement rings/bands were purchased there. My now fiancé wanted me to pick out/design my own ring to my liking so I set out to do my research and shop around for the best price. I had gone to various chain jewelry stores to find what I was looking for, but was discouraged by their lack of knowledge and overall prices. When I met with Bob I showed him several pictures and described to him in painstaking detail what I wanted the ring to look like. He was knowledgable, professional and patient with me! I asked numerous questions and he was able to provide me with clear answers regarding diamond grading, price points, etc. I bothered this man more than you can imagine, but he was wonderful and entertained my requests and questions with a smile! My ring is absolutely beautiful, such great quality and the price was $1700-2000 cheaper than what I had priced out at the "chain stores." I am so pleased with the ring and very glad that I supported a local business. You will not be disappointed if you visit the Jewelry Clinic! I frequently stop in to have my ring cleaned and inspected and it is apparent that he is so invested in his customers and products. I had a great time designing my ring--Bob made what could have been a stressful time, so relaxed and easy. Bob and the Jewelry Clinic have my highest recommendation. My fiancé proposed to me with his grandmother’s wedding ring, a beautiful ring with emerald and diamonds that was two sizes too small for me. To get it resized, we first took it to a commercial jeweler (who will remain nameless) and the salesperson/jeweler dismissed us and told us that it was impossible to refit this ring - and that they were the ‘best’ in town, and no other jeweler would be able to resize it without ruining it. They told us we should come back when we had the money to buy a ‘real’ ring, and we left feeling disheartened. We then did some searching and found the Jewelry Clinic and Bob. He welcomed us and our ring, and with a very positive attitude told us he would do what he could to fix the ring by the following next week. Two days later he called us and the ring was finished. It is so beautiful, and fits me perfectly! More than we could’ve hoped for. We are so grateful for Bob and his craftsmanship and kindness.
