USED GLASS ALERT!!! HORRIBLE SERVICE!
I had Mr. Glass install and windshield on Friday and notice that I had a crack on Sunday. I called on Monday to inform them of the issue and they asked me to take pictures of it and send it to their cell phone. While taking a picture I noticed that not only did the windshield have a crack, but that it was a used windshield that had someone else's oil change notice from 1/2014 and it is now 2017! No one called me back after three business days, so I called them again and still no one called me back. The tech told me that my windshield wiper probably caused the crack, but them I told him I did not have to use them as there was no snow or rain and I have a two car garage, so again I had no need to use the windshield wipers. I called a third time and basically was accused of breaking my own windshield after they were unable to explain the crack away. I am so hurt that I was accused of breaking my own windshield, as if I don't have better things to do. Oh, yes, they also offered install another windshield for a price. Is this their gimmick?? Didn’t receive the quote for several weeks and had to play phone tag for two months before we finally got the quote. Paid the deposit of half down and was told we would be put on the install schedule, 3 months later I had not heard anything yet. Had to chase them down again to get an answer as to why. we were experiencing some problems with it closing properly, and also it is all scratched up (should be a brand new door, it cost us $6,650 installed). Called back to see what they could do about it and was given the run-around again. I have called three times about the issue and haven’t been able to get an answer or someone to come back out. Read moreI’m shocked by my experience after all the positive reviews. The staff was extremely unwelcoming. Not at all what I was expecting. However, I wish that was the cause of my complaint. I was told my windshield would take 7 days to arrive due to my vehicle needing a specific type, however I was received a call back letting me know my windshield would be in sooner. Great. The windshield is not the same as the one I originally had. It’s clearly a cheaper windshield. To top it off, I found what appears to be the innards of a cigar on my dashboard.
