I don't write too many reviews but I do so when a business gave me exemplary service. I received my Dad's Rado watch when he passed away in 2014. He always told us the only place in Syracuse to take your designer watch was M. Lemp Jewelers on Warren St. So, this past Jan 2018, I came across the watch I had stored away and it needed a battery and it is rather unisex so also wanted a link taken out so I can wear it. The first time we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and assisted. The sales woman took some time to show us their pearl collection and some incredible opals priced over $10,000. We awaited a call and picked up the watch and 2 days later, it was dead again. We went back and explained, realizing my Dad bought this watch in 1994, they determined it needed an overhaul, which they called me with a price before proceeding with the work. By the time we picked it up, we were treated like family. We had previously done business with Lennon's Jewelers in Clay, but they have since closed down. We plan on using M. Lemp for all of our future jewelry needs. I previously worked at Kay Jewelers and the quality, uniqueness and service can't be beat! When you are making a large jewelry purchase, it is great to have a company that has been around and still prospering in a very competitive marketplace! You won't be...
Read moreI am not a fancy jewelry girl by any means, but the things I have, mean the absolute world to me. My husband and kids just recently bought me a mother’s ring which I absolutely LOVE! It was so perfectly what I like, simple, elegant. To say I was devastated a couple weeks after I received it to discover that the center emerald stone was missing, is an understatement. To ask my husband to replace a stone such as that is an expense I didn’t want to add onto what I knew he had already paid for the ring. We called Lemp just to see, and they said “bring it right in!!” They fixed it up, replaced the stone and I’m a happy girl again! Not only is it great customer service there, the people that work there are so darn nice!! I found myself saying that to a gal who was walking out the same time…“Aren’t they so nice in there?!” She absolutely agreed and said her family had been shopping there since her grandparents got married, and I know my father-in-law has been shopping there for my mother-in-law for years. It has that old-school feel of stores back in the day before big-box corporate….the mom and pops that actually care about you. I will never buy jewelry anywhere else as long...
Read moreChoosing the perfect engagement ring can feel like a daunting task, but my experience with Don Lemp made it an absolute pleasure. From the moment I stepped into the store, it was clear I was in capable hands.
Don is incredibly knowledgeable, and if you enjoy history or the intricate process of the diamond business, he will absolutely love sharing fascinating insights with you. It's more than just a transaction; it's an educational and engaging experience.
Beyond his expertise, Don is genuinely kind and considerate. He was truly focused on finding the best deal within my price point, never pushing for anything outside my comfort zone. He patiently guided me through the entire process, explaining what type of diamond and setting would work best, especially helpful since I had a general idea of what my partner desired.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Don Lemp to anyone and everyone looking for someone who can not only get them the best ring possible but is also incredibly trustworthy – a rare quality in today's world.
As an added bonus, if you appreciate antique cars, there's a beautiful one inside the store that's sure to bring a smile...
