Gibbie Clinic: Syracuse University has a wide variety of programs known worldwide. The Gibbie Clinic, which is a speech and audiology program is run by professors that are well-versed in their subjects. In my case, it was hearing. I realized that I was not hearing things the way that I should and so I went up there for a hearing evaluation. Rana, who has two more years to go in her program (and is from Saudi Arabia) and Olivia (1st year student and shadowing) ran my hearing test. We went over the results of the test, which found that I was having trouble hearing. We went over my options and we decided to try hearing aids. At no time where we pressured into buying hearing aids. My wife and I left to discuss the results and went home. We decided eventually to purchase the hearing aids with the understanding that we had 45 days to return them if we were not happy with them or felt that they were not appropriate. Read moreIf you are a student looking to find out information about this school, expect to have a rude individual answer the phone. Don't know if she was having a bad day or not but I had a question regarding expenses of going to this school and how I was talked to on the phone was very upsetting and not at all welcoming. When I was transferred to HR to talk about my questions was when I was talked to politely and without spite. I was almost in tears from how rudely the initial person who answered the phone spoke to me. She talked to me as though my questions didn't matter and as though I was just annoying her or taking up her time and didn't even ask me to be transferred, she immediately sent me to HR and cut me off. Very upsetting and just a bad impression of how the staff treats students here in terms of kids just trying to figure out if they want to attend this school or not or have questions about it. Gave 3 stars because lady at HR was so nice it made up for the 0 I would've given had she not been there to help me with...

I was taking 3 courses in one semester, I was only different person in class our of 100 total students. others of class consist of half Chinese and half Indian , and TA's also from china and india. Even TA's speaks in Chinese in Class for students that is ridiculous. You are like even in China or India like exchange student. As a result, if you go engineering department , I honestly say "Do not go because you cannot live in that people who are working together." but if you go some other department , do not go again because the cold weather will ruin your life. I changed my school after one year in school of engineering. It is such a worthless university and...
