If I could give zero stars I would. When I first walked in I told them I wanted both a gel manicure AND pedicure. I waited for about 20 minutes (which I had no problem with because I could see that all three nail techs that were there were with the three other customers that were there). The person who did my nails was a heavyset male with long shoulder length hair. There was no greeting when he came over to the table to start my nails, he just started placing items on the table without even a "hello" then after a few moments he tries to take the color chart out of my hands when I was clearly still deciding on the color, this I thought was rude especially since he still hadn't even greeted me but I didn't make a big deal of it, I just politely said I was still deciding.
The equipments were DIRTY and he got offended when I didn’t want to put my sensitive skin directly on the dirty surface that had powder and nail clippings on it. I asked nicely if I could have a napkin placed over it because I didn’t want my sensitive skin to come in contact with the surface. After completing my manicure he tells me that they "don't have time to do my pedicure." Even though they had time to do the three people who walked in AFTER me who did not have appointments. I have really good observation skills so I can tell that they did not have appointments based on the context of the conversation when they checked in.
I’m not upset that they refused the service, because I personally don’t like to spend my money where I’m not welcomed. I’m just annoyed that they wasted my time when I could have went elsewhere for both services.
Please don’t attempt to insult my intelligence. “Jimmy” the person who worked on my nails NEVER greeted me. The surface that he asked me to place my hand on was DIRTY with some kind of powder and nail clippings, I wish I had taken a picture. The two ladies who came after me clearly did not have appointments, this was pretty obvious when they asked if you had availabilities for that day and if you were able to do the service they wanted… doesn’t sound like conversation from someone who had already pre-booked an appointment. Even if they did have appointments, that was never made known to be when I walked in 30-40 minutes PRIOR and told you the services I wanted. If that really was the case (which it wasn’t because it’s a LIE) why have me sit down waiting for 20 minutes and then an additional 20 minutes getting the manicure to then tell me halfway through the service that you “don’t have time” for the pedicure? Very Unprofessional. I get that you’re desperately trying to save your business, but please don’t LIE in...
Read moreToday I went to visit this place for the first time. I just recently moved to the area.
I called ahead and made a 3pm appointment for one of my best friends and myself. I was getting a fill and she was getting a pedicure.
Mind you, we both have very hectic schedules and we can’t often plan something like this. She works like 70 hours a week and has heart issues.
So we go in and wait for just a couple minutes and I get seated very quickly and my experience with the gentleman who waited on me was perfect. My nails came out amazing and I tipped him $20.
However, my friend was told to sit in the pedicure chair and after an hour from the time we walked in and then they had her sitting there in the pedicure chair, soaking in water - nothing was done to her. She actually painted her own fingernails because she was bored.
I said something a couple times to the gentleman waiting on me and he did say something to one of the girls …but by 4 o’clock my friend finally said she’s gotta go. She didn’t say a word she just left.
But then I heard behind me the woman that worked there say something to one of the customers , she was only sitting there 20 minutes. They were behind me, so I spoke over my shoulder and explained to her we had been there an hour. We got here at 3. We had a scheduled appointment and of course, one of the customers had a butt in and say something ridiculous … she even called me entitled which I don’t really care. She doesn’t know I worked three jobs most of my life and I’ve never left anyone sitting waiting for me at an appointment for an hour. It was none of her business, but the part that bothered me the most is that the worker was kind of encouraging her having a conversation about it that she gets treated like this all the time…. No apology no, I’m sorry. Just crazy.
I didn’t even say anything, except for the fact that she had been a full hour. It was the customer that was butting in on the conversation and the worker kept talking about it with her. My back was to them so I just tuned it out.
I even heard the customer woman say something about are you gonna bail me out of jail ??? as if they were going to do something to me lol
The gentleman was apologetic, but the young female worker was not helping the situation at all, and the fact that she kept talking about it with another customer was outright disrespectful and unprofessional to say the least.
I am 54 and I’ve been having my nails for many many years and I have never had an experience like this.
Not a fun experience with a longtime friend that I don’t...
Read moreAfter doing research in the area for a nail tech with awesome nail art I came across Alex. I loved her work & thought she would be perfect ! We texted through social media , i sent inspo pictures and booked an appointment. I got my pedicure done first with a different nail tech. It was great. After my pedicure, i went over to Alex to get my nails done. She explained with a shorter nail length she will have to make the design smaller to fit the nail. Sounds good 👍🏼. She asked me to wash my hands after prepping. I realize my thumb nail was not filed straight , i pointed it out and she fixed it. Coming to the end of my services I see the finally designed and i was instantly so upset. It looked nothing like the inspo picture. I expressed i was upset with the design and showed her one finger that was really bad (a blob of nail polish as my design) she explained doing my design over is going to take to much time & she asked me why i didn’t say anything sooner. Alex never stoped and asked if i liked the design she just continued to do it. ( i was talking/ playing with the customers son next to me (2 years old) so I wasn’t completely paying attention to her doing my design either.) I asked Alex if she thinks my nails look like the inspo picture and if she thinks my nails look good. She stood on her work saying it looks good and she had to work with a small nail. I explained that the thumb (picture 3) looked fine & i understand having to make it smaller but just got sloppy with the rest of the nails. She ended up fixing one of my designs even though i didn’t like any of them. (Picture 1,2,3 finished nails by Alex) After leaving her salon, i found a different nail salon to fix my design and they did such a great job !!!!!! It was obvious Alex was in a rush or possibly just a bad mood. I drove an hour from my home to get my nails done with her. It’s sad to say I had a horrible...
