I have been coming here since the 90s. I’ve always loved it. As an adult, I’m now dairy free with children who also can’t have dairy. They also have loved it here. Unfortunately their dairy free options are severely lacking. Somehow their machines always freeze the dairy free yogurt and then it doesn’t come out. So of the ONLY 2 choices of dairy free yogurt, only one was working. I know it’s tough as an employee to have to always explain the same thing, but there was no apology or hint of disappointment. I was told the machines don’t work well like it was just a matter of fact. I was also told that she can’t guarantee that the machine will work for more than one serving. After having a delicious Mediterranean dinner with a friend in Montclair Cafe Moderno, I was interested in dessert 🍨 Being partial to dairy (namely milk 🥛) she suggested going to 21 Choices for frozen yogurt in Claremont Being a college town I expected it to be pretty packed on a Thursday night but to my surprise there were only a couple of people in line ahead of us (once we got in line however it got crowded quickly and space was limited) After looking at the menu I opted to get the "Cinnamon Churro", made with real pieces of Cinnamon Toast Crunch (one of my favorite cereals growing up), pieces of cookie dough, and frozen yogurt 😋 It was DELICIOUS 😋 😍 The service was fair (I think the two workers that night might have been tired so I made sure to put a little something in the tip jar) and the price was fine for what I got ($7 for one large scoop in a cup) I would definitely go back and try something else if I ever find myself in the...

This was my first time in a 21 Choices in a long time, so I was extremely confused about how to order. It's not really first-time-friendly, as it's not easy to explain the different ordering options. Also, I felt so much pressure in line to make up my mind so the people behind me wouldn't have to wait. The employee didn't explain that I would not lose my place in line while I tried samples or took time to make up my mind - she could serve the other people, and whenever I was ready I could just jump back to the front of the line. It took me a while to figure this out. When I asked for recommendations, the staff were very nice in recommending and describing different flavors.
