Blaze Pizza — Restaurant in Claremont

On Sunday around 5:30! ... 5:30, my bf and I placed an online order for delivery. Just 2 pizzas and some ranch. Order comes around 30 min later and it's wrong. Not our order. We call the store back and the lady claims they had two orders under the same first name. Like that was going to make everything make sense. There are last names on orders for a reason. The wrong order was given to the driver, plain and simple answer. She then said, we can remake the order but YOU'LL have to pick it up, OR refund. So he asked for the refund and he placed the order again online. Here it is, almost 7:10 and we still don't have our order. What a ridiculous experience to have because people can't read names and give correct orders out. Very very disappointed with my time and money spent here.

So update: got my order around 7 30 pm and missing the ranch, missing ricotta, missing arugula, missing chicken. Called the store back, and the lady said "probably because we are out of the items". Okay so there is no communication between the store and customer or doordash and the worker about contacting the customer to inform them about the topping they claim to be "out of". Ridiculous customer service. We are waiting on TWO refunds. Get your business together.

UPDATE : I still have NOT received BOTH of my refunds. That's around 86 dollars that im still owed !! And yes, I've emailed the support email they claim helps you resolve this mess.

2nd UPDATE: It's been almost a month and STILL HAVE NOT RECIEVED THE 2 REFUNDS WE WERE TOLD WE WOULD RECIEVE for 1 order that wasn't even ours and the 2nd that was completely wrong. My bf has called multiple times, and both ladies told him he was going to get a refund. This is crazy....

This is the second and last time we'll have Blaze Pizza, because of this location. We ordered delivery the first time and thought the ultra bland, undercooked, cold food was due to the delivery service but nope. We did curbside this time. Their site told us it would be ready in 21-25 minutes. We arrived right on time, parked, and called the number to let them know we were there. She said the order was still in the oven but would be right out. We waited... and waited... and waited. At the 48 minute mark from ordering, we called again. They brought the pizzas out and they were cold. They had finished them and not bothered to bring them out. Whatever, we're too hungry to drive them home at this point so we find a spot to park and eat.

Upon opening the boxes, we're greeted with sadness. We requested EXTRA CRISPY PLEASE because of how soggy the last time was, and there it was on the receipt stuck to the box, but nope. Sad, translucent cheese on my pizza. Zero little brown spots (how cheese should look on a pizza). It gets worse, though: My girlfriend's pizza had NO CHEESE. Not just a little cheese... ZERO cheese. Starved at this point, we ate the soggy, bland (how do you even make pepperoni and sausage salt-less?), incorrect pizzas and drove home sad.

The bottom line: If you must have Blaze Pizza, at least try another location. If you have to get it from this location, go in and stare at them making it because they will definitely mess it up. Check your order before leaving. Honestly though, you're better off elsewhere. I can say without any exaggeration that frozen pizza is better than what they gave us on...

After a bit more walking in downtown Claremont, we decided we wanted to try Blaze Pizza. Not very many people were there when we walked into the pizzeria. It was around 3pm, so it was late for lunch & early for dinner, so that was probably why. My friend ordered 1st. She got the 2 topping pizza for $9.95 & a medium fountain drink w/refills for a total of $14 something. She got to choose her type of sauce, cheese, & 2 toppings. I, on the other hand, order the $12.95 Original Crust Build Your Pizza & medium fountain drink for a total of $16 & some change. U can select what type of crust u want, but anything other than the Original Crust was a few dollars more. For the Build Your Own, u r given any amount of toppings. Ok, sauce, u had your choice of original tomato pizza sauce, spicy tomato pizza sauce, pesto, alfredo & maybe one other one. For the cheeses, they had shredded mozzarella, the wet mozzarella, parmesan, feta & also maybe one other. I can't remember all the meats & veggies available. I just went w/spicy pizza sauce, shredded mozzarella, pepperoni, fresh bacon bits, mushrooms, onion & green bell pepper. U can watch them put it together & cook it in the oven w/them occasionally rotating it as it cooks. They have indoor & outdoor seating, but if u have more than 2 people in your party, u might want to eat inside. The pizza was quite good. The crust has a nice flavor & chew. The sauce also had a good flavor. It was a good pizza @ a reasonable price. The size of the pizza was about the size of most places small/ 6 slices. I...
