Governor's Square Mall has some major department stores and small boutiques I enjoy seeing. The only mall in Clarksville is very small for a mall, but it is easy to navigate. Many of the stores give military discount...a big plus. You do have to provide ID though. I rarely go to the mall except to buy hard to find items in the area like KVD eyeliner in Sephora in JC Penney's, free gifts with purchase from Belks, oversized soft tees and cardigans to disappear in from Torrid, fun stuff from Spencers, Bath & Body Works fragrance mist, and yoga pants from Aerie. During Halloween season, they have Spirits, a Halloween costume and decor store.
Yesterday, I came to the mall to buy raspberry donut body fragrance mist from Bath & Body Works. It smells like actually donuts with raspberry filling. I even bought a bottle of it for a friend. It was worth the trip, and I was glad that I didn't encounter lines. Yay! I did enjoy doing some shopping in Aeropostale, a store I never visit, and bought an Ace of Spade necklace.
Aerie is my favorite store in this mall, because the customer service is stellar, and I get the cutest shopping bags to carry my items there. I like that I can get American Eagle Cash Rewards in Aerie to purchase items I like. Their clothing and lingerie are so comfortable and seamless like their yoga pants.
The mall is less crowded on week days - early in the morning. Big department stores like Dillards, Belks, Ross, and JC Penny are located here. Most stores require that you wear a mask and provide sanitation...

Read moreI have been a long time shopper, since I was little, the mall has always been the centrepoint of everything in clarksville. I've never felt like it was an unsafe place, until recently atleast. I was by myself in the mall a couple of days ago on Frida . I decided to do some "shopping therapy" since the recent and sudden passing of my grandmother. I had been sitting when all the sudden I look down to notice someone stolen my shopping bag. When I went to security for help, any officer I nabbed in the mall just shrugged their shoulders, said there's nothing they could do, and kept walking. When I asked the security desk if they could look at atleast the security cameras, he rolled his eyes and said no, he can't. That act has concerned me greatly. They, not only seemed like I was an inconvenience to them, they wouldn't even let me leave any contact information with them. Even if I was a lost cause, they could've taken it just to ease my concerns at such a stressful time. There is something VERY lacking within your mall's so called security, if I could even call them such since they're doing nothing about anything.
Whose to stop anyone from stealing? Apperently nothing but personal morals. Since this incident, not only do I feel completely unsafe, but violated and failed by the mall's...
