If I could leave a 0 I would. Absolutely the worst choice we have made. When we bought the mattress and base in Clarksville they really didn’t provide great information. Just trying to make that sale. We understood that they were returnable within the first 30 day in home trial. Well that’s false. The mattress is returnable but the $3500-$4000 base is NOT returnable. (Really check that fine print because it states Flexfit adjustable bases are not part of the home trial. That includes ALL Flexfit according to their customer service. Again we thought for the first 30 days you could return all). From what I have read on previous reviews, you don’t need even need it. The mattress always moved around and made clanking noise. I felt like I slept worse on the mattresses than I did on the couch. We had a different remote sent from Sleep Number that is supposed to adjust the base by itself because if you don’t have the mattress you can’t use the app. We had someone come get the mattresses and they really didn’t know anything about the product and couldn’t provide us any information about the remote. They were a 3rd party company that just tossed the mattresses in the back of a box truck. Didn’t wrap them or anything. We weren’t able to pair the bed to the mattress and had to call the company again. They tried helping and said that the remote could be bad and are sending another one and a technician. As a customer, I expected to let her know what I was looking for in a mattress and in turn for her to suggest the best one to fit my needs. Instead, I felt like I was being quizzed on my knowledge about different types of mattresses. How about asking me about my preferences; firm, medium, etc. Ask me the basic questions that would give her ideas on what might work for me and my husband. She was not personable at all and everything that came out of her mouth sounded scripted. I really hope that she was just having an off day. Overall, I was left feeling uncomfortable. Needless to say, we left and went straight to Mattress Firm with much better customer service and with a staff who was very personable and knowledgeable. You don’t have to buy their $5,000 bases, which ours stopped working properly within 10 days of bed being delivered, but your stuck with it and the rude customer service phone people who hang up on you, put you back in the hold que and are extremely rude to you like saying “if you’ll stop talking I might help you” but again, this warning is about the bases, they are NOT returnable and you DON’T even need them, which was never explained to us and completely useless if you don’t have a sleep number bed as they are split bases with holes for your sleep number bed to hook into, and no foot bar area to keep another mattress on it, so I’m not even sure how this would be possible to use with any other bed!! Again, YOU DON’T HAVE TO BUY THE BASES!! Apparently their beds work...
