Johnny's Treasure Quest — Attraction in Clawson

Total disappointment. The idea and cost is a fantastic value. It was worth every penny day one!

However you pay and are invited to a private group for clues and anything goes despite having a moderator. Not family or kid friendly at all. We had hoped to purchase a bunch for holiday gifts but will take our money elsewhere. We don't want to see peoples personal text messages full of F bombs especially if we want to involve people with kids who want access. Its too bad we were huge supporters of the event but the lack of dedication to the peeps who participate is poor. There is another great one called Michigan Treasure Hunts we will definitely take our money and time there. People don't want to be heckled in their free time.

Update, after leaving this review the company administrator posted a screen shot of this review causing further issues and of course bored people on Facebook to harass me.I am absolutely baffled at the lack of maturity and professionalism behind this. I also found photos on the page of the administrator damien frazief posting his Marijuana dope finds. Definitely reporting this where it needs to be so owners are held accountable. Liked the place the first time we went. Wanted to go again today but their doors were locked and lights off. Went by at 12 when it said it would be open. No one there still about 45 minutes later after opening.

After getting a response from the owner I definitely won't be back. Yes I gave a 2 star review because having the right hours is common courtesy to your customers. Even if it takes a short while for google to let you edit your hours you technically have been in frontier town for a few months. Not weeks. I hope you do good but leaving a negative reply is shown to everyone who views your business. I did not give 1 star but am now. I gave it 2 because while I liked it, again, hours are important. Most businesses in frontier town open around 11 or 12. If you only open on the weekends that is that. That's fine. But learn customer service and respect for your community. I will not step in your business again. I will buy online. Thanks. It is also very obvious when you have your friends or worker rate their own business. Made many rookie mistakes and judgement errors on the initial treasure hunt then refused to admit to them or even apologize for them, even going as far as posting additional comments to antagonize participants who felt the contest wasn't conducted with full honesty, which led to many participants being completely unable to have any chance at finding the treasure, which led to a direct waste of money. Would not recommend as they have shown to be very unprofessional and not cognizant of how a business should conduct itself professionally and interact with its customers. There are much better, more professional options out there who have integrity and reliability where you know you are getting a safe, fair and fun experience with the same chance for all involved.

Also notice nearly all their positive reviews are from their jewelry store, they just renamed the page to keep those 5* jewelry store reviews, despite none of them being for a treasure hunt, which didn't start until August 1st, this year.
