After using this pharmacy for at least two years, I've slowly been more and more disappointed. I've had issues with them screwing up and straight up losing my insurance information after using them for a long enough time where there shouldn't be these issues. I've actually had to transfer my Albuterol prescription to another pharmacy altogether simply because they couldn't figure out how to input the order with my insurance. And before that, I even went as far as having my doctor write a new prescription and included all of my insurance info AGAIN and they still couldn't get it right. This isn't the first and only screw up. I refilled one of my important prescriptions two days ago, had my bf pick them up for me because I work all the way in Cary. I ended up with the wrong medication when I KNOW I refilled a specific one. I called and complained and there is absolutely no accountability for the errors. They can never find my prescriptions when I come to pick up either. The pharmacy staff is nice, but they must only hire people with minimal IQs. It's absolutely ridiculous the amount of screw ups from this place. I have a chronic illness and NEED my medications when I order them. I can't afford to be doing this run around and having the pharmacy not know what they're doing and giving me the wrong medication when I didn't even refill for that one. Unbelievably inept staff at BEST. I have transferred my prescriptions to another location in hopes they they will get it right. I may stop using Walgreens altogether. It's just upsetting knowing that I cannot trust to get my correct medication when I refill it. Horribly inconsistent staff. Will not be returning to this location.
DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY UNLESS YOU WANT AN UNBELIEVABLE AMOUNT OF EASILY...
Read moreIf you want to go to a pharmacy that steals money from you, uses your card on file without asking, wastes your time and tells you that there’s nothing they can do to help then you’ve found the perfect place! If I could leave negative stars, I would. Seriously, this place is an absolute joke. The girl at the pharmacy checked me out before even telling me what my total was. I was planning on using a GoodRx coupon but she checked me out with a card I had on file without telling me my total or even asking me if I wanted to use the card on file. I had to rush home since I was leaving for vacation that day and tried calling to get it sorted out so I could at least get the difference of the total back had I been able to use my goodrx coupon. I called 3 separate times and was transferred to the pharmacy each time, waited on hold for 5 minutes, then the line would go dead….. this happened 3 times in a row. Finally after I’d had enough and firmly told the person on the phone I needed to speak with the pharmacy and not be put on hold for 15 minutes and hung up on, I finally got in touch with the pharmacist. As if that wasn’t frustrating enough, when I asked if I could get the money back on my card that they took without asking, the pharmacist told me I would have to come in for that money to be refunded. I explained that I was on my way out of town and would only be able to come in once I came back from vacation (only a few days later) and was told that they would not be able to refund me that money at that point. Absolute imbeciles working here, just don’t even bother dealing with them. I’ve already transferred my prescriptions to another pharmacy. Every Walgreens I’ve ever been to has been pretty terrible and this location was...
Read moreI typically don’t leave reviews for national chain stores, but my experience at this location was disappointing due to the behavior of a particular staff member, a woman from Philadelphia.
Upon entering, I was carrying a reusable grocery bag, as I do in many other stores. While shopping, I placed items in my bag with full intent to remove them at checkout—something I always do elsewhere. However, I was abruptly stopped and asked to have my bag searched, which I complied with. Shortly after, the same employee approached me again, making comments about students stealing after school. As a former teacher of nearly a decade, I understand the concerns around theft, but her approach was unnecessary and condescending.
Ultimately, I decided not to purchase some items due to an invalid coupon and proceeded to checkout with just sunscreen and candy. The cashier, who was kind and professional, seemed confused as to why I no longer had the other items, prompting me to offer my bag for inspection again, despite already having been searched. After completing my purchase and receiving a digital receipt, I noticed that the woman from Philadelphia was watching the entire interaction from behind the register. It then became clear that she had been instructing the cashier through an earpiece the entire time.
I fully understand the need for loss prevention, but I was treated with suspicion and sarcasm despite giving no indication of wrongdoing. Profiling customers based on appearances is unacceptable, and the way I was monitored throughout my visit was both unprofessional and unnecessary. If I could give zero stars for management and upper staff, I would. This experience left a negative impression, and I won’t...
