Big Cheese Pizza - Clayton Crossings — Restaurant in Clayton

Edit: Reordered tonight, and we are very full & satisfied customers! Our previous less than ideal experience was clearly addressed by the owner, and has been resolved. Tonight's order not only met, but exceeded expectations. Big Cheese clearly understands customer service! We are happy to have a pizza place to call our own that takes care of its customers. Try the stuffed crust, your welcome!

Menu closely replicates Little Caesar's with menu options, quality is Better. Stuffed crust blows Pizza Hut out of the water. Not the best pizza you will ever taste, but probably the best option at its price point. With that being said tonight's customer service left something to be desired. Called at 9:15, realized they closed at 9:30. Asked if it was too late to place an order for pickup, Was assured an order could be placed for a large one topping stuffed crust. approximately 25 minutes later after arriving to pick up, we were told no orders had been placed in the last 45 minutes. This was a flat out lie. No excuse, it was a lie. An order had been placed at the Clayton location that we have used many times in the past. Being lied to as a customer is something that should not happen. We clearly explained we were aware they closed shortly, and if it was too late to order we didn't mind. Instead they lied to us, and we are now waiting to receive a pizza from another chain at 10:02. I am giving four stars because I plan on returning to try again. They have given me consistently excellent service minus tonight. If tonight becomes the new norm I will take me business elsewhere, but so far, tonight is the first time they have...

I was here for vacation for the fourth of July weekend and while here I noticed the manger Nerma ask another employee who didn’t look any older then 16 about her “skin condition” in front of a restaurant full of people… I hope she understands the damage she might have caused this young lady and this older lady needs to do better absolutely disgusting and won’t be returning ever again while here on vacation now or future and not because of this young ladies quote on quote “skin condition” but becuse of this nasty manger’s attitude.

and let me add to respond to owner’s response below….. the words that where used that I heard where… “whats wrong with your face”….employee answered…. and your response was “well you need to get that cleared up” …. I don’t think coming and asking the young lady sounds like a very professional response or a healthy customer or employee friendly one because once again let’s call this young woman out in a restaurant full of people…and neither was the response given by the owner….and you obviously know what incident I’m referring too becuse if this “never happened” you would be clueless to this review… so there is obviously some truth here… thank you!...

This used to be the best pizza place! I don't even normally like pizza, and even I liked their pizza. BUT we ordered a couple of our usual pizzas and got home to see they had changed the bacon and the onions. The onions are cubed now, and crunchy....the bacon is different also and rubbery. I called and asked had they changed the recipe permanently, and was informed they had indeed changed it at the beginning of the year. Guess no more Big Cheese pizza for us, will go back to Pizza Hut! they have great bacon and onion pizza.

My question to Big Cheese Pizza is why change it, when it isn't broken? and obviously people loved it, as they continually voted you guys as a top pizza place? Now all I hear are more negatives than positives about it.

Please consider switching it back, and we would be happy to patronize and recommend your...
