It's a nice park unfortunately clearwater parks are not maintained well. You can already see this in the dog park and they've spent Millions on the rest of it and like all the other Clearwater Parks it substandard. It's a great idea I wish the county was running these because they actually run great parks. Clean always well-maintained I go to Crest Lake Park you can't even drink out of the water fountain because there's so much slime and green stuff because they don't even pay attention to the simplest things. We need to get rid of city managers we need to have some accountable people in the city of Clearwater you go to Enterprise dog park you can't even breathe. They never even move or clean things properly it smells like a latrine. It's an awesome part tremendous possibility however they ignore so much stuff and allow it to turn into a mudhole in the summer when it rains a lot. If there was Private companies running this they would be fired but these are obviously lazy people that don't get the fact they serve the public not the other way around clean the dog parks clean the parks in general pay attention because it's not about picking up a trash bag out of a container. It took me two years to get them to clean the spider webs off the signs in all the leaves that stuck to them 4 Cliff Stephens Park. There's no Integrity they cut down trees and rarely even plan any new ones it is amazing and they want to spend Millions downtown to like fight with a Scientologist. These people are idiots running our government we need to move them and get rid of them hire private contractors like the state does to maintain things on the roads we don't need this stuff we don't need people sitting around for hours and their trucks texting. I see it all the time it's ridiculous whoever's running this they all should be fired not getting huge big paychecks because they're bureaucrat who do nothing but have other bureaucrats confirm who they supposedly be. It's ridiculous government used to be security and serving people now it is like you're the mafia sucking us dry and do the least you can and that's exactly what has happened in this community and is happening to Florida because people vote these kind of idiots in here that buy into this stupid stuff. You're destroying Clearwater Beach you're destroying this city because you don't have enough brains to figure out the private sector is what runs things not your dumb incentives and you're dumb statements and you're over egotistical belief you can control everything look at the mess city government has created with Scientology. Total example totally stupid totally incompetent totally inept and what are we left with higher taxes with less service and a bunch of dumb incentives to put people in here that do not need or want to live here because it's too expensive what you propose and to subsidize it doesn't work either. Wake up....

I am disabled and confined to a wheelchair. I really enjoyed fishing at Crest Lake up until April 12th when they put up NO FISHING SIGNS ON THE WALKWAYS AND THE PIER. Up until then, Crest Lake was a HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE FISHING LAKE. As it now stands, Wheelchair bound patrons cannot gain access to the shoreline because our wheelchairs get stuck in the soil or grass in the few areas that you can try to reach the water. The rest of the shoreline has been planted with flowers and orimental grasses that would be destroyed if you tried to run over them to get to the shoreline. This is VERY, VERY UNFAIR and I'm going to file a complaint with the County and the Parks Commission for violating the 1978 American's with Disability Act which grants equal access to ALL government municipalities which received TAX PAYERS MONEY. My money went into Crest Lake and I have a right to EQUAL ACCESS TO EVERY AREA OF THE PARK. THE NO FISHING SIGNS HAVE GOT TO BE...

Different dog parks within the facility for different weights are nice, but usually it seems people just go where other dogs are anyways. They are the typical "giant kennel" style play areas. Lots of mulch (not good for your dog if they tend to eat everything) and a lot of the grass areas get worn down. Because of this you end up just having a lot of dirt depending on which play area you pick. They do have dog wash stations but be mindful of the temperature of the ground as you leave. The sidewalk can get hot for their paws. The pond is nice to walk around, lots of different types of birds to see but I would absolutely NOT allow your dog to walk on any of the brown bridges. They are nice bridges made of the synthetic boards and a dark brown color so they get extremely hot in the sun and will cause damage to your dogs pads. If you won't walk on it barefoot, you shouldn't...

Best clean dog park in clearwater. If you want to place to take your dogs that does not smell like dog poop due to responsible owners that pick up after their dogs, this is the place. There are four parks where dogs can go off leash. One is for under 20 pounds, the other is for medium size dogs, the other is for large dogs, and there is a group one for all dogs also.

What a transformation. Crest Lake is a brand new park. Lots to do with kids. Two different playground areas for different ages. Bathroom s are new and clean. Bathroom s open 8a to 8p so hopefully they stay clean. Now there are decks on the lake. Tons of ducks still. And it feels safer if anyone reading this has been to crest lake park before. You know what I mean.

Beautiful dog park. It has four different parks. Small dogs, medium dogs, all dogs and even a place for non aggressive dogs. Very clean, has water stations in every park and poop bags for those spontaneous moments. Great people and lots of dogs and space for my boy Lex to run, have fun and dispense all his energy. Will recommend.
