China Wok — Restaurant in Clearwater

I called this restaurant attempting to place an order for starters it was so loud in the background that the lady couldn't even hear my address to take my order finally once we made it through that I was given the total that I didn't understand after I had already totaled up my order in my mind the guy was getting frustrated because I wasn't understanding but it's because he wasn't telling me about the $3 delivery charge well first it was $3 then it was $2 either way I opted to take something off my order so that it doesn't be so high and he got mad and hung up the phone on me I called back three times and each time someone would pick the phone up and just hang it back up I just so happen to have his cell phone number because he delivered to me before and I called it and he didn't answer so I text him and let him know how rude that was and he text me and told me that he's busy he'll call me in a few will this wasn't a social call this was a business call as well and I'm a paying customer and I just don't feel like I deserve to be treated that way because of the communication breakdown I understand that he's busy but I shouldn't be treated that way I deserve the same courtesy that everybody else is getting...

This is honestly my Chinese food stop of choice! They have very fair prices that range from like 2$ for soup to $30+ for huge family sized meals. I've ordered from here often for me and a friend and we both get a huge spread to choose from as well as a fully portioned left overs for the next day for like 28 bucks. Its places like this that really get me wanting to try out other stuff on the menu because its so cheap (Definitely order the steamed pork dumplings they're a treasure, but the egg drop soup isn't for me haha) The only downside of this location is that its right off a main road at a really inconvenient 3 way intersection... If you have a truck or just don't want to risk attempting to back out of their ultra mini front parking lot I'd recommend parking in the rear. Also while this is an amazing take out location its not really the best to dine in as it always sweltering hot inside and they only have like 2 tables so, you know, plan accordingly. The front service person is always nice and I've only been disappointed with one dish because it just wasn't for me- they really do serve...

If I could give 0 stars I would because I tried it based on the high reviews. I placed an order for delivery. Thought it was really odd there was an hour wait for the delivery because they are only two miles away but whatever, I was ok with that. At an hour and 15, I called. She was kind of put off I would even bothered calling her to find out where our order was. She said it was on its way. 15 minutes later, an hour and a half after ordering, the food arrived. The driver tried to blame the restaurant then took off with my money, No change given, just left. Like you deserve a Fn tip for an hour and a half dude let alone 20% because you are a slimebag taking the tip instead of giving change. You suck. Now the food was cold, no chopsticks, no mustard, and the food was average at best. Maybe it is better if it is hot but I won't give them...
