My husband and I visited tonight with a group of friends. Two gentleman sat in front of us and about ten minutes into the production as my husband whispered to me the gentleman turned around and said “if you can’t control yourself see yourself out”. One of the “security officers” Mr. Davis got in my husbands face and told him that he would call the police and escort him out. Seeing as my husband was one of the ONLY African American men in the building it deeply saddens me that he was the target of a racist encounter in this facility. As the issue was taken outside of the building many lovely people came out to try and vouch for my husband saying he did absolutely nothing wrong. The so called security guard was the most rude and condescending gentleman I have ever encountered in my life. He should NOT have a job with this establishment as he clearly sees color as an issue. Mr Davis is a disgrace to public safety. I am HIGHLY disappointed in this encounter, especially after paying...

It takes ten minutes to get to the Circle from the heights, and seven to ten more to traverse the Circle from one side to the other, depending upon the time of day and destination. The Maltz Performing Arts Center though, is impeccable...
Read moreThe Maltz Performing Arts Center is an exquisite place to see a performance and a wonderful beacon of the area's vibrant Jewish Community. I just saw my first show here. I was very impressed when I first went, especially by how there was a very attentive and helpful bathroom attendant. But I say that with a bit of caution, when I got back to my seat and told my wife about my experience in the commode she told me that those are not things that are done by bathroom attendants and more importantly over half of those things are explicitly forbidden in The Torah. Either way though, the Maltz Performing Arts Center was an amazing place to...
