Penn Station East Coast Subs — Restaurant in Cleveland

Four years ago I gave this place a 4 star rating. Now my rating has dropped to 1 star, and that's due to customer service. The manager Eric was quite rude over the phone. He jumped to conclusions without even letting me tell him what I actually needed. He thought I wanted to alter my order, when all I wanted to do was adjust to a later time. I arrived at the restaurant and my order wasn't even near ready, and he had an attitude. Very unprofessional. I'm a medical professional so I order my food ahead of time due to my clinic needs. Although the other staff was great! So polite, and greeted me with a smile. Even though the manager was unprofessional and I had a longer than expected wait time, the food was still delicious as always. Chester location: The order was taken by Angela. She is also the person that put old fries in the large fry container and put a few fresh fries on top. I contacted the store via phone and spoke to the manager Jacob who had just came out of the restroom when my order was being prepared. He sounded like he didn't have a care in the world. There was no resolution offered. He only replied ok to anything I said. I called polite, because he was not at fault and I go to this location often. I told him that a Google review would be done, he replied ok!" I informed him that his nonchalant attitude was not acceptable. He in turn replied "ok". Old food is not acceptable, but a store manager who clearly didn't care about my order being messed up...

The food was great, but there were three staff that were playing a little too much while customers were in the store. At one point the male employee was handing my to go bag to the female employee to use to put my food in, and he "mushed" her in the face with "my" bag. The female employee was laughing, and still used the bag to put my food in. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! With Covid going around how dare you!!! The manager was there but she was busy working so she didn't see it but I'm sure she heard them because they were loud. Definitely will not return.
