Let me start with I would give no starts. First and last time ever that I come to this Walgreens location in Cleveland. I had never had an issue with other locations. We were told yesterday that the prescription was ready to be picked up. We go and only one was ready. First excuse was that they were having issue's with the insurance plan that it wouldn't cover it. Secondly that the Doctor needed to send a request. I called yesterday afternoon to ask if it was ready and they said yes after I told them that one was picked up earlier and that the other would be pay out of pocket. We go today to pick it up and they say that it is not ready that the doctor sent the prescription today again. When we told them that yesterday we picked up one. They said okay give us 15 minutes. We go and make a long line again and they said that it wasn't ready. I go this afternoon after I called 3 times and they had me on hold for a looooong time after they tell me that is ready. And the lady gives me an attitude as I'm showing her my phone with the RX coupon. Only reason why we kept insisting with the medication in that location was because it is the closest one near home and my child was in pain. Never again. I am upset and so overwhelmed with...

Unfortunately, I had the worst experience today with an employee who identified herself as Nancy. If that's true, she lied to me multiple times during our conversations. She was rude, abrupt, loud, obnoxious, and downright unprofessional. To make matters worse, the pharmacist couldn't be bothered to get on the phone to explain what I needed.
I've lived in Houston all my life, and I moved to Cleveland hoping for a more courteous and friendly environment. Unfortunately, Cleveland only has one Walgreens. After reading some reviews, it seems many others share the same feelings. Don't get me wrong; I've had a couple of good experiences there, but it only takes one bad apple to spoil the bunch. Today, Nancy (??) played that role for me.
This review won't stop here—I'm reaching out to Walgreens' corporate headquarters to report this experience. They oversee and manage the employees (Nancy and the pharmacist) at Walgreens here in Cleveland, and I want to make sure my experience is known. If I could give a lower rating, I...
Read moreBeing reminded why I quit doing business with Walgreens years ago. I’ve had 3 different new medications filled here in the last week. The first 2 on the first visit, the “pharmacist” spent about 2 seconds going over side effects of high powered pain relief, which included as he was walking by, literally “you shouldn’t drive when taking this; could make you sleepy”. Good talk. Fast forward a few days, and I’m picking up another new to me medication, and the fella at the drive through spent more time asking me every known personal identifier than anything else, and I wasn’t offered consultation at all.
So I called the following day, because I wanted some answers on these alleged side effects… and I was out on hold for a long while, with someone picking up and placing it right back on hold.
Great service Walgreens! (NOT).
Listen.. if y’all want a decent pharmacy in Cleveland, go to Walmart. I’ve been going there for years and haven’t had an issue. They answer the phone. They explain things well. You get pharmacy consults even when you didn’t ask for one, and...
