Master Pizza — Restaurant in Clifton

Weird customer service. The lady behind the counter that helped me out today was helpful. There was a man who walked in, went behind the counter, gave me my pizza cold. I asked for Parmesan cheese topping, he acted like they ain’t have any. I had to question him because what pizza establishment does not have Parmesan cheese? Am I going crazy? So before even going to check if there’s any he just abruptly says there is none, but then ends up finding some with his finger in it while he’s passing it to me btw. I asked for garlic powder and he said to get some off of any table, which then I asked which table because all tables in the restaurant had no garlic powder on it.. he says nothing, & the girl who was helping me at first comes from behind him with some garlic powder saving the day.. but at this point I feel like I’m being rushed out this place when homegirl who was helping me at first was doing her job perfectly fine. Whoever that dude is, may be the owner, or just someone with authority in that workplace, gives crap service. I’m not telling anybody what to do or how to spend their money, but I don’t play bout my hard earned money. With that being said, I don’t just spend my money anywhere, and I most definitely won’t be spending another dollar at this place. Do better. God Bless...

Ordered through the Slice app-got a call saying that they didn’t have a delivery person, so I changed the order to pickup...not realizing that there are multiple Master Pizzas (d’oh). Called a few minutes later to see if I could cancel (I don’t have my car at the moment and it’s a bit far to walk 10 miles!). Seemed to be too late, so I told them to just keep/give away the food.

Well, I get a call 10 minutes later saying the manager was going to make an exception and deliver (they actually don’t deliver to Carlstadt which was the original problem-totally understandable!). Plus, they were super kind over the phone. Seriously? I mean, 5 stars for customer service right there.

BUT WAIT! We got our food (plain pizza, mozzarella sticks, a garden salad)-OMG WAS IT GOOD!! Pizza was absolutely perfect (and truthfully it was still warm when we got it-again, 10 miles away? That’s awesome.), mozzarella sticks are delicious and their homemade Italian dressing is so tasty (it’s simple). The kicker? A little extra bag with dessert (I haven’t tried it yet but I’m sure it’s gonna be as amazing as everything else)!!!

I haven't ordered here in a few years, since before the shutdown. Rainy day today so I caved. I ordered a beef gyro (I added onions), it comes with fries. The girl on the phone was super sweet, answered my questions with patience. She said my delivery would be here in 40 minutes, I was already paying the delivery guy in 27 minutes. That alone makes me happy (it's a Saturday evening & raining so getting my order in less than 30 minutes was great). Firstly, my food came neat! Gyros are messy but mine came tightly wrapped, nothing falling out, and cut in half. The fries were in the same takeout dish and they didn't have any gyro contents on them. Nothing was greasy, nothing was salty, the pita bread used wasn't super thick either. It was a little thicker than a wrap & perfect. Some places use the pita bread so thick that i opt to just eat the insides of a gyro and a small piece of the bread, not the case here. Everything was super tasty, and again NOT greasy!
