White Castle — Restaurant in Clifton

I've been there during 2 different managers and had issues twice with the same manager. She's got the worst attitude. Today they were cleaning some grease spill on the floor while I was waiting for my food. My chocolate shake was complete liquid after waiting over 10 minutes for my order. She and another employee were cleaning and cooking orders at the same time, while the oven was open and of course the fryer they started pouring Ajax all over the oil spill while there was a fan blowing all the powder into the oven where food was being cooked and all over the oil, I had to yell at them to stop which they did but still someone on the drive trough got served that food. I kept waiting for my food and noticed the oil was cold and they had to take oil soaked fries into another fryer, after I saw them taken some already fried cold fries put with other uncooked ones to fry again I had enough, I asked for my money back and left. 07/30/24- After my original review I have been there a few times without any issues except twice again with the same manager, the last time today at 2:40 a.m. as soon as she saw me she walked away and started cooking burgers when she usually takes orders. The girl doing the drive through had to take my order. Unfortunately I knew she was going to make the burger I ordered. I went to wash my hands when I came back she was no where to be seen. I noticed a lone burger kind of thrown in the counter little ways from the grill, I thought I bet that's my burger, usually after the burger us ready and until the rest of the order is done they put the box with the burger standing up by a heater to keep it warm, mine was almost half of the box because it was just thrown there, the half the cheese was out and the bottom bun was touching the counter, it sat there almost 5 minutes because the girl that took my order went to the bathroom, unfortunately I didn't hear any water running but I can't prove whether or not she washed her hands and to make it worse she didn't use gloves when she picked the burger and yes it was mine. I didn't want to start another argument with another employee. When I got home I checked and burger had nothing but the meat and cheese, no pickles at all eventhou I always order extra, no onions which I like and not even ketchup, not that I was planning on eating it anyway and ofcourse it was cold. This manager should not be working with people, she always have that miserable attitude. I will not going back or at least not when she's working. I sat in the drive thru from 9:28 to 9:40 without moving one car, waiting; while watching a passenger 2 cars back get out and try door to store. It was open so she went in for service. Upon her entering the car she was in pulled off line and parked. While still NOT having moved the lady came out a short time later with a bag of burgers. At that point I asked the guy in front of me if got to order yet and he said no. I then called the white castle and after complaining about the situation was told...I'm sorry, we are short staffed. I was then told ...oh but the store is open inside. I informed her I was trapped in the line. She again said that she was sorry and ended the call. Suddenly the order was taken for the vehicle in front of me and then promptly my order was taken as well as the car behind me and within 6 min or so we all had our orders. The point is I had to make a phone call just to get service. As far as I know the drivethrough is supposed to be the faster option number one, number 2 it's supposed to be a priority, and number 3, I would have at least expected a first come 1st serve order even if mixing the drive thru and ordering counter. I was actually very pleasantly surprised on the new sliders that White Castle has I never knew that they had vegetarian options so once I heard from a friend that way Castle have vegetarian sliders I decided to give it a try. Psalm throat veggie slider is very good the new impossible Burgers they have are also very good I actually had to go up to have them assure me that it wasn't made of me because it actually look like a real cheeseburger. Overall I think I'd prefer the veggie burger only for the fact that it doesn't remind me of eating me but that is only because I am a vegetarian. However I do like the fact that it is very high in protein. I really wish that they would make veggie burgers or impossible Burgers as a combo because as it is is very expensive to order everything separately. Basically if I wanted to get the equivalent of a combo number one which is for sliders fries and a drink I would need to order for veggie burgers which come out to about five bucks the fries which is $2 and a drink $2 so that would be $9. Even worse if I got impossible Burger I would need to get for which would come out to $8 fries $2 drink $2 would come out to $12 for a fast food combo so White Castle please try to make a combo for vegetarians with your veggie burgers I really enjoy them however I don't...
