Sherlock's Escape Rooms — Attraction in Cold Spring

Great family fun! It was our first time, and we loved it! It was a lot of fun for the entire family! Definitely coming back! Customer service was excellent - our game master was Maisie, and she was awesome!

Update #1: we were not successful escaping the first time, so went back to try again. Awesome customer service both times!!! Assistants really go out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant experience. This was a lot of fun - our entire family enjoyed it very much! Definitely coming back to try a different room! I also had questions when booking the room - they reached out and were so helpful. Just the best! Highly recommend this business and happy to support it!!!

Update #2: we tried Sherlock Holmes Mystery escape today, and we absolutely loved it! We liked it a lot better than the Lost Kingdom. Lost Kingdom got confusing at a certain step, and it just didn’t make sense even with clues. Sherlock Holmes Mystery was great, everything made sense, and clues were helpful and helped us make progress. Our hostess Amber was amazing! She gave us little nudges when we got stuck or were off track - she gave great clues at the right time. She was phenomenal! Definitely coming back, maybe will try their new...

My three children and I have done at least 7 rooms between the Cold Springs and Florence locations so far we have made it out of 4 of the 7 rooms that we have tried and although it was a close call everytime it was ALWAYS a blast!! Big shout out to our game Master Tiffany as well as the others we have had. My oldest son is 12 and he and I go often, I just started my two younger children ages 5 and 9 in the JR Jungle escape and while it's definitely meant for children even I had fun and both of my younger children are hooked already just like me and my oldest and we already have plans to go back next week. My husband and I do the escapes for date night as well and all four of us look forward to redoing a room we didn't finish before time wore out. The rooms are very realistic for the most part and sometimes flat out scary but it makes the experience that much better.

Love love love . Sherlock's Escape Rooms are the best, I recommend them to anyone who's looking for something to do with friends and family or even coworkers. Groupon.com usually has a great deal on per person ticket prices as well check it out! And if you don't make it out of a room in time don't forget to claim your discount they offer...

Very fun escape room. We were not very good at putting together the clues but Cory, the game master, was a big help. We did The Shed and found it pretty tricky, but we are not very experienced. We did not finish in time (probably had another 10-15min to go), but Cory led us through the end of the story/room which I really appreciated. Great surprises throughout the game.

Good to know… The set design surpassed my expectations. I found it comparable to “The Escape Game” downtown while being slightly less extravagant. I assume most of the games have 2 or more rooms. One lock in the room wasn’t working for us. After a minute of trying, the game master was nice and paused the game to come help.

Would have liked… Background music in the waiting area. The silence felt a little awkward. More story set up to clarify what our goals were as players. A more logical flow from one clue to the next. It felt a little disjointed. I feel this could be helped with basic additions to the game or room. Pictures of the rooms or portions of the rooms on the website or Google to get a better idea of the room designs without spoiling...
