This is the perfect space for an event hosting 50-70 people. It felt like it had the perfect amount of space and we had plenty of room to eat and lay out a large buffet of food. The play ground and basketball court were well kept. Both of these are close enough to the pavilion that I could see my small children and not be worried they would be in danger.
The park is located next to a 4 lane street with no fencing around in case you have very small children that might wander. As I said, I have small kids and they didn't even notice the street because of the playground.

It's a nice wooded haven nestled within a bustling area filled with apartments that house mostly students from the campus nearby. One can almost imagine themselves in the wilderness because it's so quiet. Along the paths are numerous signs that educate you of the indigenous flora and fauna that can be sighted along the way. There is also a small pond with a quaint little gazebo on the side, not sure if fishing is allowed. Gotta find out...
