This is not just your everyday meandering trail by the creek for it is an opportunity to take in some rare wildlife, fauna and fresh air while educating yourself with some fun facts as you stroll. Plenty of benches, water fountains and chances to leave the trail for a more adventurous, rewarding, and lasting memory of college station await you. Simply step between the ferns for a kiss under the mistletoe before daring to go over the embankment to another world of seclusion, privacy and the sound of babbling brooks. Keep your eyes peeled and your ears perked for you may see beavers, otters, or even a rare gecko from the Indi's or hear the hoot of an owl at dusk. Read morePark is simple, but beautiful. If you’re looking for a decent sized, but clean playground or a trail to walk or exercise, this is it. I’m sure theres more to this area, but when my wife and I came, this place was already closed. It does appear to have tickets for perhaps an event or small exhibition. Not sure, but the trail and parking lot is open. There are of course, nicer parks, but this is pretty peaceful. It doesn’t have a basketball court or anything like that, just a playground for kids, lots of field, and building structures. Lots of trees and along a stream.
There are restrooms available, but it might be closed depending on the hours....
