Historic Old Towne Petersburg — Attraction in Petersburg

I had to give this restaurant 4stars because of the cornbread, outstanding. However the server Sam was kind and knowledgeable about the food and its choices. I was torn between cabbage or greens, Sam suggested the greens. My husband orderd the cabbage. We sat for a good deal of minutes, while sitting we naturally seen people filling up the seats. Our waiter Sam came flying past with meals saying. I'm not sure why they received theirs before us. There were 4 in our party 2 in there theirs. Ok well that shouldn't have happened, okay no problem, don't know why but okay. Finally our food arrives with wrong orders, and appeared to have sat for a spell. My grits were very very thick side and the cheese beginning to harden. OH well they weren't being sent back that's for sure.lol. So I tell Sam that I ordred greens and my husband ordred cabbage, he was given him fries! Sam turned to me and said very smuglly and direct "You" ordered the cabbage I know these for a fact! Through this whole ordeal, I kept my composure, speaking nicely. I said Sam it was your suggestion to order the greens. He just walked away. My daughter was pretty pissed how he was talking and acting, and spoke with the manager on our way out. My husband and myself were visiting my daughter whom now resides in Virginia. Prosperity has long ago abandoned Petersburg. Despite the efforts of small business and preservationists, poor and violent Petersburg is never too far away. There are many fun and historic places to visit, but you need to be careful where you're walking and absolutely do NOT wander around at night. My family members and I took an hours drive from NC to try Croaker's Spot restaurant located in Petersburg, VA. After the restaurant we started to take a drive to explore the city. This was a very short run as the main road was littered with closed stores, hair supply shops and churches.
