My first time there at the River Street market it was a very enjoyable time and great great choice of vendors I was impressed by the floutist Iris Joy I was impressed by the shea butter creator and her family also the two sisters one sews in one knits Nice combination and everyone was nice and sweet people. The music is entertaining and good conversation just a happy Sunday 👍

We went to Farmers Market in downtown Petersburg, Virginia, to get some soaps that the wife likes from a vendor who has a setup there. Being a cooler day, it wasn't as well attended just yet, but there were some nice "booth" setups as well as a food truck parked nearby. We went to this same market back in the fall, and it was busy on that particular Saturday.

We love River Street Market!! We attend almost weekly as a vendor, the market managers are amazing, the Pop club for kids is so educational and beneficial and it's truly a great environment to come shop and check out all of the eclectic vendors! The vendors have something for everyone and there's typically 20+ vendors! It's worth the trip !

The Petersburg Farmers Market is a great place to come visit on a Saturday Morning. There's lots to browse from flowers, baked goods, fresh produce, Meats, artisans its something for everyone. The staff and volunteers go the extra mile to make this market a success. All vendors are locally owned and operated. I've never had a bad experience and the vendors will always help you. If they don't have it they will work on getting it for you. Summers coming, plan a trip to Historic Old Town Petersburg and stop by the market....

All that reviews I wrote before I'm sorry but I have to take it back. Completely disappointment. I don't know what happened but they're not have enough venders and products anymore. And PRICES!?? Reasons for the neighborhood fresh market is get rid of the middle man,buy local products and help to local farmers and businesses right? So if I find better deals in chains super markets why I come to you? This is why small businesses not going survive,stop...

Always something amazing to be seen/bought here. I've bought a handmade basket, handwoven headband, handmade creams, soap, muscadine preserves, lamb, eggs, and uniquely flavored cookies. I lived in the area for years, and I'm genuinely upset about the time I missed visiting the market. A very nice place for a Saturday morning stroll, and sometimes there is live entertainment as well.
